Do not use this woman!!!!! She is not an attorney, she says she is a Paralegal ( but she will charge you for breathing just like any attorney would). She charges you for phone calls, emails, photo copies, she will insisit in a minimum two hour minimum personal interview, she will charge you for driving and even for stamps!!!! She will make sure to get every dime she can from you and then some: She is a crook!!!! I made the mistake of hiring her to help me file a request for order. A simple Two page document and she got EVERYTHING WRONG!!!! I ended up paying her over $700 and I had to have someone else do the paperwork and serve my husband all over again!! She not only wasted my time and money but she filed my paperwork UNREDACTED. She personally prepared and filed the paperwork, but left all my sensitive information such as mine and my ex husbands social security numbers, addresses, bank accounts UNDERACTED!!! for everyone in the world to see online!!! When I called her on it she responded that It was MY RESPONSIBILITY to go over the paperwork....REALLY?? She never showed me the final paperwork. She said it was done and filed it herself!!! If I needed to do all that work myself and know all the legalities, Why did I pay her for?? She also did the serving WRONG. She served my ex husband by mailing the documentation to a PO BOX. I was informed later by two paralegals and two divorce attorneys that being that it was post divorce, the serving needed to be done IN PERSON and not by mail. One might think that someone that advertises herself to be a "divorce expert" and charges like an attorney would know the law, right? Well, she DOES NOT!!!! She also took advantage of having my credit card number and OVERCHARGED me at every instance. I kept track of phone calls and such. She would pad the bill. A two minute phone call she billed me 8 minutes. To get copies of my file, she charged me $80. Eighty dollars for photo copies!!! I was charged Hours and hours of her time for typing a simple 2 page form, and she did it ALL WRONG. So wrong she left my social security on My documents and filed the documents unreacted. She never even apologized for her mistakes but blamed it all on me....!!!!!!!. So DO NOT hire or trust this woman with your case. Go somewhere else. I wish I never trusted her with my case. She is not qualified. Old age does not mean knowledge or experience. She is horrible!!! read more

Judith and Talia at Divorce Resource helped work with me through a difficult divorce. They consistently performed reliably, and on time, even though our divorce was especially difficult for a number of reasons - my ex-wife struggles with mental illness, which can make dealing with her difficult, and the divorce was a "remote" divorce since I am now living in Texas, which can make things more complicated. Despite the added complications, Judith and Talia did a great job. A few things they could stand to improve, though: There were some unexpected costs in our divorce, due to misunderstanding at the time of purchase. There were a few additional filing costs - cost of mailing papers around, and the time it took to assemble and mail the paperwork. When I made the initial payment it wasn't clear to me that these costs weren't included in the package. Likewise, I THOUGHT that when I made the initial payment that I was paying not just for filing services, but some assistance with moderating the negotiations as my ex-wife and I came to a settlement. In fact, moderation services are an additional cost which I had not paid for. I didn't end up needing those services, but there was some confusion about this. All that having been said - it's very likely that this was communicated to me at the beginning, and I misunderstood or didn't catch it all because I was in an emotionally difficult place. And when the time came to make the extra payments, I paid them happily - because over the course of the divorce, Judy and Talia both gave generously of their extra time to answer questions and make the process easier for me. They were constantly available via email and phone to talk with me and help guide me through the process, and I know I wound up using much more of their time than I had paid for in the initial agreement - so when unexpected additional fees popped up, I didn't feel as though I was being cheated. Judy and Talia did a great job of making a scary, difficult time less scary and difficult. God willing I will never need their services again, but if I did I would call them without a second thought. read more

Very unprofessional, Judy was rude and irresponsible. She would file late and try to get me to pay for her mistakes. She did not understand what forms to file. She would call and email me often for things I did not request and then charge me for the correspondence. The end result was overcharging, unprofessional demeanor and lack of knowledge. Judith made a difficult situation even harder. My Ex paid the fees for Judith's services, but we didn't proceed with the divorce until over a year later. Because her fees increased during that time she was very resentful. Instead of just charging the difference before proceeding, she brought up the fee difference every time she was asked to assist with anything she didn't want to be bothered with. She also informed me that the reason I felt that she was being partial to my Ex wasn't because he paid her fees but because to proceed with our divorce without me being involved, he contacted Judith several times while everything was on hold claiming that he was unable to get in contact with me. This was obviously a lie as I lived at the same address, had the same email & there were several other ties that ensured he was able to contact me. Judith's unprofessionalism reached the level of her yelling at me over the phone several times, an exact quote was "Pay me for my time" which was followed by her hanging up the phone while I was still talking. When I addressed the fact that she had yelled & hung up (Via email) she said that she wasn't yelling & blamed her loud tone on the fact that her mother has hearing problems & she stated that she only hung up because she thought I was done talking. Once the paperwork was completed I needed to make a change, she explained that she needed additional money to make the changes & that she wasn't going to charge my EX. She flat out said that she wanted ME to pay for the revisions. (SEEMED VERY PERSONAL & NOT AT ALL IMPARTIAL) When the final documents needed to be signed, I asked to meet separately as I did not want to meet face to face with my ex. (A common request in this situation) Again she tried to charge me an additional fee to come in separately. After yet another argument with this "Mediator" / "Meditation Coach" I didn't feel comfortable even meeting with her one on one and refused to do so. After a lot of angry & unprofessional correspondence we ultimately handle my docs signatures via mail. I would never recommend this company to anyone. However, if you do choose to use them I would suggest only corresponding via email. Judith's phone communication was VERY DISRESPECTFUL but she extremely careful with every word that she put in writing. read more

I just want to thank Judith for her patience and amazing diligence to help me through what felt like forever. Judith helped my ex and I figure out how to take care of the divorce (fairly simple since we had no children or spousal support) but due to some procrastination and having to change my strategy when my ex was procrastinating, then participating Judith stayed there and gave us both unbiased advice to finally bring it to conclusion. I did not review Deanie in the past (I was distracted with my divorce) but I am currently cleaning up old emails, and feel that I must speak up after looking through all of my correspondence with Deanie. Unfortunately, I have to say that when viewing the entire process from this global viewpoint, it is clear that the service provided by Deanie was completely useless. In a very stressful divorce, where I could have desperately used wisdom of experience, each and every written reply that I received from Deanie was either a platitude, or simply blowing me off, saying that Deanie was busy and would reply later. No such reply ever came, not once. I cannot think of another time in my life when I have had less value for (a very expensive) service. The receptionist who answered the phone was great and answered all my questions about what exactly they do and even let me speak to the person who would be the mediator for the appointment I made so I ended up going here hoping to work out a friendly mediated agreement with my partner about our child and we did just that. Judith who was the person helping us was great. It was exactly what we were looking for. With her help we worked out an agreement for both of us and by the end we had a nice formal agreement on paper of what we spoke about.
