After my previous dog walker was unable to continue her services, I found Leia's online and called in desperation for a dog walker within a 2 days notice. Keith and Leslie set me up with a meet and greet appointment the following day and were able to get walking with my dog the day after! I trust them with my dog and in my home, as they are retired correctional officers; licensed, insured, & bonded; and provide receipts. The first day they came to walk my dog, they even brought him a new toy. I was nervous the first day Keith came to care for my dog, so I looked in my safety camera and found him hugging my dog. Sorry to snap the pic below Keith, but if this doesn't say how kind they are I don't know what will! *In desperation with a hurricane on the way, I realized I left two chairs and a table on my patio. Being on vacation, I called Leia's and begged them to stop by for whatever cost to bring my porch items inside. Finding a vet you fully trust with your pets is such a big deal, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found them. I first met Dr. Nick years ago when I helped bring my Grandmother-in-Law's cat in. Later, when my own cat injured her leg and needed to be seen quickly, his office was the one that made room for her. They were kind, fair, and compassionate from the very beginning, and that experience is what made me want to continue bringing my cats there. Over the years, what has impressed me most is how personal the care feels. This is not a place where you feel like just another name on the schedule. The team remembers my cats, remembers things we talked about months before, and genuinely follows up on how everyone is doing. When I was having trouble getting my kittens acclimated, they even sent me helpful articles afterward because they knew I was struggling with it. They have also shown me so much kindness during difficult moments. When I unexpectedly lost my cat to lymphoma, they reached out and grieved with me. That is something I will always remember. Dr. Nick is wonderful, but so is every single person on his team. There is a level of warmth and care there that is hard to find, and I trust them completely with my cats. She showed me how she did it after confronting she wasn't done. She so aggressive on the teeth and gums. I feel so bad for my pup. She may do others things okay. They even played dress up and watched Christmas movies. There is no one else we would trust to watch our dog Henry. He's like our child and we love him so much. She understands and takes excellent care of him every time. She also doesn't watch other dogs while she's watching your dog. She has her own two dogs and they are very gentle and playful. Henry loves visiting them and having a puppy vacation.

Lauren taught us how to train Darby so he listens to commands ensuring a safe experience. Lauren understands the dog behavior and adapts the training to the individual dog and owners. The staff is ok, the vets are just interested in $$$$$. Took…read moremy dog there. Was told she need medicine and some 'supplements ' with chondroitin and glucosamine. Vet said they had a 'special blend' that had extra ingredients that the dog needed. Took my purchases home and when my daughter googled them she found that they weren't 'special' and Salty Paws charged us $35 dollars MORE than online. A week later, my dog got bitten by another dog. I called Salty Paws to see if I could bring in my dog for a quick look to see if she needed a stitch or 2. I explained to the staff that I just wanted them to take a quick look. The girl put me on hold and came back and said no and I should make an appointment. Now, mind you, at the week prior appointment, (which cost me over $200) , I had to wait over 35 minutes because they were running behind and the dr had a 'walk in' she was looking at! I understand everybody works for money but.....never again Salty Paws.
