Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

I kept asking for the vet because this is not how it goes. My poor baby suffered so bad for the last 10 minutes of her life. When he came back in with the vet my poor suffering baby tried to get under my husband's legs but all she could do was move her head but he came over and pinned her head to the floor while the vet came in and killed her. My poor baby suffered so badly the last 10 minutes of her life because this guy who calls himself a nurse tortured her. He tortured her. He had his hands around her throat as he was pinning her head down. She was tortured to death instead of peacefully leaving this earth. If you want your pet last minutes of life to be tortured go there. The guy who thinks he is a nurse at a vet specializes in torturing your pet.

But here at fancy pets I can say without a doubt we know our dog was taken care of and loved. We left him for 3 days and 2 nights during New Year's Eve weekend. Luckily my sister in law left her dog here as well so he had a familiar face! What's great about fancy pets is they provide beds, bowls, and even a suite for your dog to sleep in. Yet the best thing of all is if you follow their Facebook page you will get to see daily pics of your dog outside playing at least 2-3 times a day!! I brought him back for x-rays the next day. it showed an enlarged heart, grade 4 heart murmur, lungs were clear, liver was enlarged. He wanted blood work that would be back Monday. Dr Krudop would be out of town until Wednesday but he'd leave notes in the file. My pup was having trouble breathing and his tongue was turning blue. took him to urgent care Saturday and they heard crackles in his lungs we got a lasix shot and pills. I left multiple messages for Dr. Jackson to discuss the blood tests Monday. He finally called back in the late afternoon. He wasn't too concerned about the lungs and said my pup didn't need lasix. I asked what he thought about the enlarged liver and he said "he's a Yorkie that's normal." He said Dr. Krudop would be back Wednesday if I have any other concerns.

Thankful to say, our sitter Mikayla not only showed up every day as scheduled, but she also sent updates via email for each visit per our request. Three times each day we got an update on Molly along with a couple of photos. Laura and the team made it super easy to get set up, to schedule the visits, and the overall experience was wonderful. Is Laura more expensive than the other service we used previously? Yes. Was she worth the extra costs? Absolutely. The peace of mind knowing that Mikayla was there each day and providing the updates created a stress-free vacation. We will be using their services again in the future.

My Malinois can be temperamental and reactive at times so it puts my mind at ease that he's being well taken care of. Both my dogs seem to enjoy their time there and that means a lot to me. Period. 2) We went to get the cats and my babes were lying on the throws I brought in, which were soaked with what seemed like a mixture of pee and water, AND several feces were smeared on the throws. 3) I brought exactly how much food they would eat in 12 days with notes on how much to feed them. I got almost half of it back! My youngest, 3 years, felt super skinny when I picked him up. 4) The cats were each to get nail trims. Xandra said she could only do two. Get a helper, maybe? 5) I brought the kennel a bag of litter. They said to if I wanted the cats to have what they're used to. The bag lasts a week at home. The cats were boarded 12 days and I got about 2/3 of it back. 6) Xandra started to collect money even though I had paid in full when I dropped them off. Then she texted me a receipt (which included only 3 cats) for a lesser amount than I originally paid. (I got a receipt when I paid.) ... A fiasco from beginning to end.
