So Phillip and his crew painted my house on Vancouver Ln. in the North Haven subdivision back in 2016 and did a great job. We sold that house and moved out of state for a few years. We bought the house we are living in now back in June 2023 and I knew when it was time to paint, we would go back to Phillip and his crew. Well, they finished the job today and they did excellent work. The paint job itself is excellent, they replaced all of the wood rot I pointed out plus some additional places that needed in and those areas look brand new, and the overall quality is great. Dixie Paint just finished working on my house and I could not be happier! Every person on site was polite and friendly, and having a foreman to talk to made the little issues easier to deal with. They replaced a great deal of siding and did a lot of caulking, and the paint job was perfect. I started to sweep the patio and someone jumped up to offer to do it. The owner came to give a painting quote. It was a small job, but wanted a good job done. I asked that they be careful when power washing the house that they not use high power on my windows as others have broken the seals on my windows using too high of power. I told him that I have had them fixed. He said high power would not break the seal and that they use the same high power on house + windows. He said I would receive the quote by email. It's 2 weeks later + no quote. They are not returning my calls. My only conclusion is that they hope the customer write their review before realizing that the seals on their windows are broken. Since then, I have had 2 other co. Come and both have said u never ever use the same high power on the windows as you would on the house. read more

Very unprofessional!!! Got the impression that the guy didn't want to work for us at all. Was suppose to hang up some crown molding and brought us flat base boards. We express our disappointment and he states that he'll be back out the next day between 12-4pm only to end up a no show! Call the office and his wife states that he feels that he can't work with us. The man couldn't even show the courtesy to call and let us even know. Instead, he just doesn't show up?! Ask his wife if there is anyone she could possibly refer? Dixie did a lot of exterior repair work on my house about 6 months ago -- took a crew about a week to complete. I waited a long time before writing a review to see if any deficiencies in the repairs cropped up. None have. Each day the debris around the house was cleaned up. Each time I mentioned something that I wasn't satisfied with they made it right without complaint. The workers spoke English so I didn't have a communications problem. There was a foreman so I had an on-the-job contact to address any concerns. Hidden problems were found when the old siding came off and I was given reasonable estimates. On the final day they did an extensive clean-up including using a powerful magnet on wheels to pick up any nails. I was very satisfied with them -- good attitudes and very high quality repairs. I'll use them again when I can afford to repair other parts of house. read more

I called for a quote on staining my front & back decks. The gentleman came on time, but he never introduced himself so I don't know his name. He walked around with me & I explained what I needed done. He never took any measurements (quite odd). He just said "I got it". Then told me I would receive an email with the quote. I never received an email & I have yet to hear back from him. Not very professional. I have since gone with another company. My daughter is having work done on here decks as well. She was going to call Dixie, but since my experience she also has gone with another company. My advise to anyone looking for a professional job done, NOT to call Dixie Painting. read more

Dixie Paint had the most recommendations on my neighborhood website. I had them do extensive work on my house. They power washed, replaced most of the composite siding with hardy plank, replace 8 windows, trim, railings, steps, stained the deck and brushed painted the house twice. It looks like a brand new house. The work was excellent. The men at Dixie Paint take pride in doing a great job. They were professional, hard working and they cleaned up every evening.
