I'm not one for writing reviews, but I'm so impressed with the work and professionalism that I have received from Jose and his crew that I feel I need to write this review. It all started when another company came in and gave me a quote only to never show on the day promised to start, well after the 4 day of delay I decided to reach out for a couple other quotes. Well needless to say, blessings come in unexpected ways. Jose came out to my home the day after I contacted him, after only speaking with him for a few minutes I had a full understanding and trust that this was a great candidate for the job that I was needing. Then it can time for the quote (I was thinking that with this much knowledge they where going to be out of my price range) to my absolute surprise, Jose offer me a price that was well within my budget. Now keep in mind that my job is not a small one. My job consist of removal of wall paper, textured ceilings, repainting of the whole house and trim through out the whole house (Jose's price came in at a price that I had some companies quote just for the removal of the textured ceilings and wall paper). After the quote I gladly gave to job to Jose. Everything started off on a great note when everyone arrived right on time, then to my surprise, the care that everyone took of my belongings. Removal of a texted ceiling, needless to say an extremely dirty job. But with the care that they took in wrapping all of my furniture, electronics, even my clothes that they placed on my bed (did I mention they are so detailed they wanted the inside of my closets as nice as the rest of the house) and covering the entire floor throught the house before starting the job. Now keep in mind that I informed them that I was having all the floors replaced through the home and they still made this extra step of covering them. This gave me some comfort that it wasn't going to be so bad. Well they're just finishing with the first part or two parts of the job and I am extremely pleased with the work these guys have done, yes there was a little vacuuming that needed to be done but with all the texture that was removed that was to be expected. As for the work, WOW!!! I am so please that I feel I should have a sale position for these guys, everyone I speak with in my neighborhood I tell them to call these guys, as you should too without thinking twice. I'm so excited for the second phase of panting once I have other remodeling completed, as I'm confident that the paint will be completed at the same level. Call these folks!!!!! Jose and his crew at Premier Painting & Drywall were wonderful to work with, and more importantly, did a meticulous job with removing popcorn ceilings throughout our entire home. We purchased an older home (built in the 60's) and before moving in, we wanted to have all of the popcorn removed -- we felt it was now or never. I reached out to three different companies for estimates -- ranging from large, national chains to smaller, local companies since I wanted to get a diverse sample of costs and approach. From the moment Jose entered our home and started commenting on the ceiling, I knew his company was the most knowledgeable and would take the greatest care with our home. While Premier Painting & Drywall was not the cheapest (they are absolutely competitive), the quality of work far exceeded anything the other companies showed me. During the estimate process, he walked through every room with me and showed me pictures of how they would approach the work and each step they would take. Given how large our project was, it took his crew 2-3 days to wrap every inch of our walls and floors to ensure nothing was damaged. The other companies claimed they could do all the work in 3-5 days, which they probably could have, but at the expense of quality/detail. Premier took 10 days to complete the work - but that was because our ceilings had been painted over the popcorn and that made the removal more tedious, not to mention that they took the time to tighten our ceilings (they were loose after normal wear and tear of 60 years), they touched up any paint spots, and they left the house looking incredibly clean. Lastly, Jose is extremely responsive and provided me with an update every day -- I was never left wondering what kind of progress had been made and if I ever had a question, Jose would get back to me right away. I read a lot of reviews, but rarely write one, unless someone provides horrible service or excellent service. Premier Painting & Drywall provides top notch painting and excellent customer service. Jose provided a prompt estimate, it was the lowest of the 3 bids I got (and included slightly more work than the others), and they started my project within 2 weeks. And oh what a project it was. We are preparing our house to be sold, so all of our belongings and the carpet had been previously removed. We have lived in this house 12 years and the paint has been abused by 3 boys. Every room was painted a different color. Two of the bedrooms had large wallpaper murals on top of a deep blue paint. The dining room walls were a deep cherry red. In addition, there were 3 largish areas that needed drywall repair (one on a ceiling). The task for Jose's crew was to paint with a neutral color and caulk all the moulding, walls, and ceilings in the entire 2800 sq ft house, as well as paint the outside areas that weren't vinyl siding and make 2 exterior repairs. The transformation in the way my house looks is enormous. Words can not express enough what a fabulous job the paint and repair crew did. They were meticulous with covering up the kitchen and bath cabinets and masking off the hardwood floors. The initial estimate was that the work would be finished in 5 days, and indeed it was. We were ripping out our old flooring and getting hardwood floors installed in multiple rooms but first needed to find someone who could replace damaged base boards and paint the walls in the dining room, living room, stairwell, upstairs hall and upstairs bathroom in a small timeline window before the hardwood floor people were scheduled. We originally thought we would have to end up hiring two separate companies- one for the painting and one for the carpentry work. Luckily for us we found Premier Painting and Drywall online and called them to come out to give us a quote. Jose responded instantly and worked with me on a time to come out that corresponded with my work schedule. Not only were they able to do all the work I needed done but Jose was fantastic with working within my budget. He is friendly, professional and truly there to make it work for the customer and make them happy. Jose and his crew came out and even finished the job sooner than expected. They fixed all the holes and dings in the sheetrock, sanded the walls, replaced baseboards, and painted all the walls and trim. Everyone was so professional, hardworking and nice and the work was exceptional! We are so excited to get the new flooring installed now to match the great looking walls and trim thanks to Jose and his crew! Jose and his team just finished painting the exterior of our house, including our large back deck. The finished product looks amazing! It was a huge job, but Jose made sure that every detail was perfect. He kept me up-to-date on the status of the project throughout, and they even installed our new exterior light fixtures. We are so happy with the results. This is the third time we've hired Premier Painting & Drywall. When we first moved into our house three years ago, Jose and his team painted the entire interior of our home, including the ceilings (with the exception of the bathrooms, which we plan to renovate). People who visit say that our home looks new even though it's 20 years old! We also had a small flood a couple of years ago, and Jose's team reinstalled our drywall and repainted the entire flooded room. Jose will not stop working until he and the customer are both completely satisfied with the final product. Premier Painting removed the popcorn ceilings from our 1280 sq ft townhouse (including a vaulted ceiling in the living room) and painted the entire interior of my townhouse. Jose answered my request for an estimate promptly. It was thorough and detailed. He explained what went into the cost of the job and how Premier differed from its competitors. He assured me that I would not have to call Premier back after the job was completed, that they would do it right the first time. Jose checked in by both text and phone call multiple times daily to keep me appraised of the progress of the job. Mario, the job supervisor, was meticulous about the process and went above and beyond what I expected, even making minor repairs as needed! When they left, they thoroughly cleaned the job site with no left over trash or materials. The townhouse looked brand new! Premier Painting & Drywall Contractors are real pros!! Jose' was on-time for all appointments, provided excellent advice on current color trends and always responded to us within a few hours. The workers were polite, they protected all of the interiors, removed shelving brackets and wall outlet covers and left the house cleaner than they found it. After the project was complete, we were blown-away at the quality of the painting, caulking and trimming. The house is beautiful!! If you are looking for a quality team to repair and paint your home, then Jose and his team are just what you're looking for! We had major wood rot on our home and lots of repair work to do before the paint job could begin. Jose was very thorough and excellent at communicating with us about needed work and he was also very fair as far as pricing goes. The work crews were at our home every day early in the morning and stayed late into the evening. Their work was impeccable. Not only did they do an excellent job on the repairs and paint, but they were very conscientious about clean up and left our home looking just as they found it. Our house looks brand new! We recently purchased a new home and used Premier to remove, repair, and repaint a thick faux brick and stucco treatment in both the kitchen and bonus room. They also repainted the living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms. The final product was beautiful. Jose understood that getting the job done quickly and efficiently was very important to us so we could settle into our new home without all of the dust from the stucco removal. He had his team arrive an hour after we closed on the house and kept to his original timeline. Jose and the team were very responsive and professional. The company uses an online platform to send text messages so you know when they are on their way and when you have an estimate to review or invoice to pay. Excellent! Very pleased with Jose and his team. We had considerable rot (around windows, trim, etc) and storm damage to our home. We were at the point of considering new siding. Had gotten a few estimates for vinyl and Hardiplank siding. The Hardiplank gave us sticker shock and we weren't wild about the vinyl but we were heading in that direction. Jose came out and gave us an estimate. He assured us our sidling was worth repainting and after replacing the bad boards we would be all set for 10+ years. His crew does excellent work and Jose does not rush through a job. We are surprised at how well our house looks now. I originally gave Premier a 5-Star review for some exterior work they performed, including residing my house, caulking and repainting. I just completed another huge job with them including repainting entire interior, doing some major drywall repair (where I had stepped through a cieling), tile work in the kitchen. I also was doing an addition on the home and they installed all drywall. I've refinished a number of houses and worked with a number of contractors....Premier continues to be the best. Their communication was flawless, execution superb, and ability to address my concerns (which were very few) was helpful. This painting company is fantastic. I am very particular about hiring contractors, and Jose and his team met my expectations. He is unique from other painters we have used in that he focused on surface preparation, which is a must with good painting. He did a great job of explaining his process, answering questions, and making sure we were pleased with the outcome. He checked in regularly the week his painters were here, and the crew was courteous, cleaned up daily, and tended to our minor concerns. We were able to go see the outcome at and talk with a former customer, who also had wonderful comments about his attentiveness and attention to detail. I seriously can't say enough good things about José Gasca and his Premier Painting crew. They worked on two of our houses in Raleigh and we were impressed with their skill. Fast forward a couple of years and we're living at the coast and get destroyed by Hurricane Florence! Our house had to be torn down to the studs. As we were starting over from scratch we found that the reputable local contractors were completely booked up and there was no shortage of DISreputable contractors who were ready to fill in the gaps. I hired Premier Painting & Drywall to remove popcorn ceilings and they did an amazing job. When the owner (Jose Gasca) came to give us a bid, I was impressed with his professional manner and knowledge of the details of the job. Our home had settled over the 3 years since it was built. There were multiple nail pops and cracks in the ceiling as well as the crown molding needing to be caulked from pulling away from the ceilings and walls. Following asbestos removal, we hired Jose and his team to repair the damaged drywall and paint a few areas of our home. Jose was very responsive, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. Premier Painting & Drywall repainted our entire newly bought home. From the cabinets to the walls to the trim everything looked incredible.
