Everyone we knew who had worked in the early childhood space recommended this method and suggested verifying that core teachers/administrators have actual Montessori training, as there is no particular regulation on branding. They do. 4) Full day program. Reasons we're glad we chose Redbud as we move on to 1st grade: - Expert teachers. We had so few problems, but every one we had was solved by asking the teachers' advice. The staff at Redbud really know kids. - Safe, welcoming, and caring community. Our child started out quiet and soon felt completely comfortable being himself in every way. This was particularly evident in the Kinder year, which made us especially glad we stayed for that burst of confidence and imagination. He also learned to be a good helper to others. - Seemingly limitless individualized learning. Our child was able to build on his skills and interests at his own pace throughout his time there. His teachers knew exactly where he was and what he was working on. No matter how far he went with something, they somehow found a way to support him when he wanted to go farther. - Beautiful natural setting. We loved the location but didn't figure this into our initial decision -- on reflection, it was such a joy to visit that spot twice a day, and watch the seasons, and have so many beautiful memories playing amongst the trees. I loved seeing pictures of the kids learning and making things in the classroom and coming in for activities where parents are welcome, like the annual Easter egg hunt, trunk or treat, and mothers and Father's Day celebrations. He grew from a shy, reserved child to an outgoing goofball with countless friends. He learned to read at 4 and I fully credit MCD with that. The care that every teacher and teaching assistant here gives is evident, and the environment is rich and colorful. However, this preschool is among the worst early education environments we have encountered. Based on our concerns, we put an X on a diaper. The X was still there at pick up. There are basic issues around safety and security that made us nervous. In addition to some issues of concerns around the care, they do not honor their own policies. We opted out of marketing but we still found photos online of our little person online. We have ten children in our local family and this is the worst preschool we have encountered. Please be careful and make sure that you do the work to research the quality of care.

They are caring and easy to talk to. Whenever I want to talk to them about kid or anything, they're available to talk. And most of the time they worked with me and the issues. There's two groups. One for 2-3 and the other older kids till they go to kindergarten. My daughter started from little kids classroom to big kid classroom. Little ones are more for daycare type and big kids one is more for getting ready to kindergarten. She learned letters, numbers and other things like arts and crafts as well. Lots of free playtime for the creativity! Price is really reasonable for the area. Drops ins and outs are flexible so it was perfect for my schedule. I highly recommend.

I found Zerghon's daycare after interviewing several other providers. I was impressed with the Yelp…read morereviews and the overall structure of the program she offers. We agreed that my son would start right after his first birthday and I was very excited and hopeful that we would be a good fit. My son was born during a pandemic and has some anxiety being away from mom for too long because he's so used to being at home...but he generally does well. On his first day, he did relatively well and I got photos of him engaging with the other kids and napping. On his second day, after being there for an hour, I got a call to pick my son up because he was crying. The assistant said they checked him for fever and that he was fine but then went on to say that they just didn't think he was a good fit for the program. She then proceeded to say that my application was cancelled and wanted to know if I wanted my payment back in cash or money order. No plan to work with him to help him transition, no concern for if there was an underlying issue, no nothing. Just come get your baby and don't bring him back because he is crying. I'm just so disappointed, hurt and offended at the idea that a 12 month old baby gets kicked out of daycare on his second day for crying for an hr. Especially when Zerghon herself told me how other kids in the program had hard transitions and ended up working out over time! I mean, isn't that a typical process for babies? What makes my baby different? I can't help but think there is other motivating factors at play here. My baby fell asleep in the car while we were driving home by the way. He was crying because he was tired.

I really recommend her, my kids love to go there, and her schedule is so perfect for my work schedule. Another thing that I love is that she will text me pictures of the activities during the day and that makes me so happy
