Good Times - cheese, sausage, pepperoni

I typically see Dizzy Cow at a few of the breweries I frequent (Sapwood, Hysteria, etc.). The pizza is wood fired and ready in a decent amount of time. The menu is small, but concise (one cheese, one meat based, one veggie based, and a special). You can also create your own. The pizza is decent, but I prefer a competitor wood fired truck-- Brick n Fire. They also serve on paper plates, whereas their competitor uses boxes. Overall, I enjoyed my Green Thumb and Good Times pizzas. I'd eat again if given the choice!

    Charred crust. It tasted terrible.

We were looking to hire a pizza truck for our small wedding. We reached out first to Dizzy Cow. Their response was very impersonal and it took 9 days to get a response to our inquiry. Ironically, when delivering the estimate, rather than showing their enthusiasm for talking more, or selling what they would add to our event their only message was "this message expires in one week" explaining that if we didn't book within the time, the price would go up. Strong flex considering their response time was horrible in comparison to every single one of their competitors. But, we were hopeful that their lack of enthusiasm for their product and poor response time would be unimportant when we tried their pizza. Wrong. We tried two pizzas at Pherm this weekend in crofton. They were not very friendly, and my pizza was awful. I mean, terrible. Burned on the bottom and visibly on the top. My partner's pizza was bland and mediocre at best. We love pizza. I would have hired any of the competition for our big day based on their pizza and service. However, I will never return to Dizzy Cow again. Icing on the cake. They were scheduled to serve pizza at my fiancés job today, and canceled the day of. All signs point to no thanks Dizzy Cow. If you're looking for fantastic pizza and a LOVELY, enthusiastic experience, call Love Crust Pizza instead. They are so clearly thrilled to be working with their customers, and proud of their product. The difference in attitude will leave you hungry...for pizza. That isn't burned. Somewhere else.

I love supporting small businesses and I love pizza even more. When I found out this food truck would be in my business park, I made sure I showed up to the office that day. My commute to work did not go in vain, as I enjoyed my pizza. I got the old faithful, tomato sauce and cheese. Looks like they were out of fresh basil that day. Anywho, the pizza was quite good. I don't believe it was worth the price but I understand owing a food truck is costly so the $10 didn't bother me too much. This is definitely better than some chain restaurants like Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. Not better than places like &pizza though.

Dizzy Cow has been coming to our church every Tuesday for Food Truck Tuesday. Most of the food trucks rotate, every other Tuesday. When the schedule is posted, I check to see if Dizzy Cow will be there. My decision on whether to attend is if it's Dizzy Cow's week. I love Dizzy Cow pizza! Old Faithful, cheese, sauce and crust are delicious. Crust is cooked perfectly, so much yummy cheese...just yum! Another good one is The Frenchman, honey, cheese and figs. Sounds strange but it's so delicious. It's their most popular pizza. Dizzy Cow employees are always so friendly. Our church has a lot of members, I call it a mini mega church. Plus people from surrounding communities come on Tuesday for the trucks. You'll always receive a smile, even if it's 90 degrees in the middle of summer and they are in a steaming hot truck with a pizza oven. There's only a few Food Truck Tuesday's left this year, I'm already looking forward for next year and my Tuesday Old Faithful!

the novelty of this place is great. The first time i encountered the famouse mobile pizza oven was at a food truck gathering with open bar so i think my initial reaction was a little over inflated. I thought it was the bessssttt pizzaaa eevvveeerr. granted i had been drinking so i knew i needed to try again. Dizzy cow set up in the harbor across the street from my office at least once a week when the farmers market would come on Thursdays and then some random Tuesdays. The idea of fresh oven pizza conviently outside my door is awesome and i see why people pay for the novelty. and i do mean pay. prices range from $12-$14 for a pie depending on the toppings you get. The always have a list of suggested pizzas and normally they are a mix of classic ingredients with one or two you wouldnt think of. Every pizza i have had is OK. is it the best pizza i have ever had? No but its great when pizza is what you are craving and you dont want crappy dominos pizza. just watch out for any pizza that has olive oil on it as a topping. the olive oil tends to settle on the bottom of the plate and makes ther otherwise light and flaky crust soggy. Wait times are not as long as you would expect watching your pizza be made from conception. rolling out dought puttig on toppings and baking takes about 15 minutes from start to finish and they will make multiple pizzas at a time so the lines move pretty fast. Dizzy cow is a ok with me and next season when they come back i will come back as well.

    Old Faithful with pepperonis

Stopped to get a pizza while at Artscape and was so glad I did! I ordered the Old Faithful and added pepperoni. The crust was light and fluffy and the sauce had great flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the pepperonis but they were large enough to take them off without any hassle. The staff moved very fast even with a long line. I received my piping hot pizza within minutes of ordering. I hope to run into this food truck again soon!

    Amazing pizza!

The pricing was very reasonable, and he even offered a wonderful tasting prior to signing the contract, which gave us great confidence in our decision. To consider this a legitimate "business" is laughable, just like their food. Arrived over an hour…read morelate to an event and instead of being apologetic, had an attitude. Dinner was for 25 + people and there was barely enough food for 12. Not that this mattered, as EVERYTHING was inedible and there were no plates, cutlery or napkins provided. I take that back, the store brought $2.00 (price still on) cornbread and $16.00 cake were the ONLY items edible. The Mac and Cheese was dry and bland. I will give them credit for it being both overcooked and undercooked all in the same batch. I'm still trying to make sense of that! The only adjective that even remotely describes this Mac and Cheese is "disrespectful". Like, seriously, the disrespect was 10/10. The chicken was undercooked and bland. How do you make jerk chicken bland and soggy? I'm actually curious. The "blackened" salmon was overcooked yet not blackened, creating another "make it make sense" moment. I immediately spat out the greens. They were undercooked, not under-seasoned but literally "not seasoned". Wait, I take that back too, if you count the dirt and grit as seasoning. They should be ashamed of themselves for ripping people off. Pictures don't lie. The fact that they were sent pictures and still stood behind their product tells you all you need to know. Please, please, PLEASE do not let these people ruin your event and more importantly your special moments and memories. There are so many other respectable and legitimate Black-owned catering companies i.e. Ohhs and Ahhs, Henry's, Hitching Post.

We used Classic to cater our wedding. To be honest, we feel a bit mixed about the experience. TLDR:…read morewe wound up giving four stars because although our bar situation was a disaster, food is more important and the food was better than most other wedding food. The food - as foodies, we felt like Classic gave us very good wedding food (but it fell short of very good restaurant food). During our tasting, we were pretty blown away by the food -- all the flavors were excellent and all the food was perfectly cooked. Day of, a lot of the food was overcooked, and things were under sauced, so we missed a lot of the flavors from our tasting. The food was certainly better than most other weddings I've been to, but if I would have gotten the food at a restaurant I would have been disappointed. I know it's really difficult to cook in bulk. (FWIW though, people really loved the mashed potatoes -- and were still talking about them a week later.) We were also extremely pleased with how Classic handled dietary restrictions. We had a number of people with restrictions, and everyone was able to eat, and no one got sick. They even worked with us to make our whole menu gluten free so that all of our (many) celiac guests could partake. The drinks - our drinks were a disaster. And I think part of this is because our catering manager switched just a few months before the wedding. Our original catering manager had allowed us to create our own cocktail recipes. We love mixology so it felt very fitting for our wedding. We wanted our wedding to feel like a cocktail bar and not just have the standard wedding cocktail. However, our new catering manager pretty much lost her mind when she heard this, saying it's never done. Our conversations were weird, and we never figured out what the issues were so we assumed it was reluctance to do something different and thought they'd figure it out. However, it seems the issues were the bartenders can barely make a drink. Although we sent VERY specific recipes, i think only one of the bartenders followed them. The first drink I was given when I came down to my cocktail hour was supposed to be a lavender chamomile play on a French 75. But what I was actually given was lemon juice, soda, and gin. I literally spit it out, and had a mild panic attack that my guests were being served undrinkable drinks for our whole cocktail hour. It turns out, that only one bartender was making undrinkable drinks (and they continued to for most of the evening). Another one was making ok drinks, and one was making drinks correctly. No one could remember which bartender was making which drinks, so everyone remarked how inconsistent our drinks were. A number of times people had to toss drinks because they picked the wrong bartender. I was also pretty pissed that although we had confirmed with our planner and classic a half a dozen times that they would pass drinks during cocktail hour, they never did. Afterwards my planner said it was because the drinks were too complicated. But they could have passed wine, or beer, or prebatched drinks (which we thought they were doing). We really didn't want a line at the bar, and there was one, so a month later, I'm still fuming about the disaster that was the bar. I think had we had more time, or better communication from the new catering manager, we could have worked something out that would have worked for us and them. But, instead, trying not to piss us off, I think she gave in knowing they couldn't hold up their end of the bargain. The service - the service (aside from the bar and our catering manager) was good. All the catering staff were very kind, and rushed like crazy to finish our room flip. We appreciated that they designate one server just for the bride and groom! The process - Our process was a bit of a mess because of the catering manager flip. But, were it not for that, I think it would have gone pretty smoothly. Classic are def pros at putting on events. We were happy with the process before the switch. Afterwards, we didn't really jive with the new catering manager, who was much more rigid than the original one. We might have been less off put by this, but, she also wasn't great at communicating the reasons behind her "nos" or "yes, with reservations". Our planner had told us that your classic experience very much depends on your catering manager, and based on our experience with two of them, that seems accurate.

We had an amazing experience working with The Classic Catering People!
