When we had that horrific windstorm we had a tree fall on our house twice in a week of each storm that came through the town I live in which is Greece, NY. Our roof was damaged, gutters, and the front of our house. It look like a war zone, but speaking with Nick he assured me to get the seamless gutters and they would be right out to get the house done. I could of took the cheap way out, but saw the value in their warranty and how their gutters are put up with the materials they use. Look no further if you need gutter repair. And I'll go out on a limb and guess that their gutter cleaning is just as high quality -- I'll be switching our gutter cleaning to them in the Spring & Fall, based on how well they helped us with our repairs. So here's the sitch -- we'd just had our gutters cleaned and the service provider mentioned our gutters in the back were sagging which meant water wasn't draining, so they needed repair. Based on great reviews online for Catalino, I called for an estimate -- which was provided in about 2 days (quick considering it's Winter, many people needed their gutters cleaned after an early Fall snow which meant that every gutter company was backed-up with cleaning and calls for repairs, like mine). The price seemed reasonable, so we proceeded. Not only were they able to fill our repair needs FAR sooner than anticipated, the communication was TRULY exceptionally good, and then they were able to fix some very unanticipated repairs when they uncovered that our fascia boards (what the gutters hook onto) were completely rotten. In summary, they kept exactly to the revised quote that included more repairs than anticipated, the pricing was VERY reasonable, their timeline was to the "T" with what they quoted, they did an extraordinary job of cleaning up behind themselves, and were friendly and offered superior communication throughout. [Emphasis JCi's.] On 12/20/2022, I emailed JCi noting that I'd apparently not made its list after all and that I'd look elsewhere for a reliable contractor. The response included an apology with excuses about workload and weather, and an offer that if the weather warms up he could "try to get out there" -- not exactly the 'firm' commitment he'd made in October, so I once again stated that he needn't worry about it as I 'd look for someone reliable. JCi emailed again late on 12/29/2022 with an offer that he "may be able to come by" the next day -- once again, not a firm commitment to actually showing up, so for the third time I responded that I'd look for someone else -- some reliable. JCi replied on 12/30/2022 that, "I wasn't really interested in working for you after that last email but I was going to fit you in...". And there it is -- with JCi, I am the bad guy despite being clear in my very first inquiry that I was looking for someone RELIABLE. I am the bad guy despite the fact that JCi failed to keep a firm commitment to clean my gutters before winter [There's a word for that, and it's not "Reliable"]. I am the bad guy because JCi couldn't be bothered to let me know they couldn't keep their commitment [Reliable? Guess again!]. My 87-year old mother-in-law with dementia, of course, had no resistance and she signed a $10,000 contract on a modest sized house. So scammy! So unscrupulous. She doesn't have $10K and so will probably be turned out of her house. They are preying on the elderly. CROOKS. Even if for some reason you decide you want gutter guards, don't support these predators and send your support elsewhere.

He said that it would be more cost effective to do both at once instead of one at a time since the travel distance from Rochester to our location is so far. We agreed and were quite surprised when the guys that came to do the original installation were from a couple of towns away. Contractors with a private vehicle which seemed a bit unprofessional. Had them come out to do a repair where the corners where the sections meet were beginning to pop up and we were charged for a service call. Now the screen mesh came off and not only do they want to charge us for an initial inspection but they also want to charge us again for materials and labor when they come to do the repair. They do not stand by their warranty and you will be expected to pay for anything that comes up.
