Griffin was beyond the perfect DJ to have for our wedding! My friend had him DJ her wedding a few months before ours so she recommended us to contact him. And to be honest, he totally "showed me the light" and gave me hope that we could actually have a wedding. My now husband and I were going back and forth for months on the wedding location, size and honestly could we even afford one. We were going big, then small, then to just a courthouse. It was truly a difficult time in the beginning of the planning but Griffin pretty much sealed the whole deal! I was really caught up on the date, the wedding date of course. It had to be on a 11th of a month. It couldn't be June 11, that was too close. It couldn't be July 11, that the hubby's mom's birthday. It couldn't be September 11, that's 9/11. And it couldn't be October or November 11 that was too late so it HAD TO BE August 11. I was not going to budge on the 11. So I contacted Grif, kind of last minute too and he gave me the few dates in August he was available. Of course August 11 was NOT an option. I was bummed. Like obviously this whole wedding this is NOT supposed to happen right now. So I replied and told him my crazy obsession that it needed to be an 11 and I just wanted to confirm he WAS NOT available that night. And when he replied I almost cried. He said he had a distant event on the 10th and did not know when he was going to come back BUT if I wanted him on the 11th, he WOULD be back for the wedding! I could not stop smiling. I was like really? Did I read that correct?! You are available? Literally, the stars aligned on that day. I contacted all the vendors (DJ, venue, food, photographer, etc. again all kind of last minute) and they ALL were still available on the 11th. I told my husband "It's happening." The stars aligned for a reason, we are supposed to get married on August 11, we WILL be able to make it work and it WILL be perfect. And that's exactly what it was... PERFECT! Grif was sooooo very helpful the ENTIRE time, especially when filling out the music sheet. When I was "lost" in the beginning of it, he offered to meet, explain things, titles, timing, etc. If I had a question he answered it. If I needed a suggestion he gave me 3. He was beyond accommodating to our timing needs, budget, date of event, everything. I even asked if our first dance song could be a mixture of 2-3 songs and he even emailed me link on what it sounded like. For the day of stuff, it still continued to be absolutely perfect. I loved the song choices we decided on for the ceremony in particular. It totally hit me that I was ACTUALLY GETTING MARRIED when he started playing the bridesmaids entrance song. They were walking down the isle, and then I was walking down the isle. And for the reception, he was still very accommodating and communicated on exactly what was going to happen. Until that night, we did not know exactly who was going to toast or how many but he handled it perfectly fine and made it seem like it was normal. Also, my dad passed away 4 years ago and I was going back and forth on what I wanted to do for the father daughter dance/ or playing a special song. We decided to skip the dance and just play a song for my dad. It wasn't even noticeable that we skipped it. We changed some of the timeline throughout the night as well and he was able to change his things too. And for the general dancing, we had a WIDE range in the age of the crowd but he kept it going for all ages to be able to dance too. Grif was perfect and totally helped make the night run so smooth. People always say the DJ/MC controls the whole night and sets the mood and it is very true. If you want the night to run smooth, have 0 problems, someone that's there for you from the start to the end, answers all your questions, and so much more, then you'll want to choose Griffin!
