He was still game to provide fun music and he was masked up and distanced just like the venue required. Jeff played several special requests and provided two hours of non-stop entertainment. Even with no dancing, the party was still a blast. We'll definitely book him again in the future. Hopefully next time we have a party we're not competing with Rona and can rock on!

I went to elementary and high schools with Mr. Funk and had NO idea how awesomely he blends pop and underground until our ten-year high school reunion over Thanksgiving. I came in expecting all '90s tunes and perhaps some 2000s to which we could shake our booties. Not so. We were lucky to get awesome danceableness instead of the traditional reunion fare! If I were more well-versed in DJ terms, I'd be more specific, but instead I will restate a blurb from his website: "Underground PeakHour? Top40 remix? BOTH! Alex Funk is mixing Mariah with Fedde, Janet with Hook'n'Sling, Gwen with Deadmau5 -- This is the future of nightclub music. No rules. Just fun music to dance to. Come at 10, dance till 5. You're gonna sweat." The music rocked, and I wish that there had been a way to simultaneously be on the dance floor and chatting with folks. I am totally checking out Club Hippo the next time I'm in the MD area!
