Matthew (DJ Kemyst) provided audio services at our July 2026 wedding. He was very professional during all communications with him, very upfront about billing without any hidden fees, and provided flawless audio sound and clarity when we exchanged vows. There was a decibel limit at the wedding location and Matthew handled that limitation perfectly. He also did not hesitate to move his heavy equipment between floors so that the reception audio was handled just as professionally. He even willing stayed past the contracted hour without hesitation or complaining. I'm sure that he is a remarkable DJ; the only reason we did not have him "spinning records" is the decibel limitation. Matt DJ'd our wedding on September 1st and from beginning to end, hands down it was the best experience we had of any of our vendors! PRE-WEDDING: He was so open and receptive to all our ideas/questions/requests. We met about a month before the wedding to go through the schedule in detail and he was willing to meet us in Seattle which is a long drive from Olympia for him! After the initial meet we continued to text him with additional questions and requests which he addressed in a timely manner. He even offered to meet a second time prior to the wedding just to ease our nerves. WEDDING DAY: We showed up to the reception and Matt was all set up and ready to go. Despite our attempt to create a detailed time schedule, things did not go perfectly according to plan (which is bound to happen) but Matt was very flexible and able to adjust accordingly. I messaged DJ Kemyst about being the DJ for our wedding at a venue in Leavenworth. He got back to me within the hour, and was also super fun and easy to talk to. We had a weird wedding setup without a lot of the usual requirements for a DJ and he gave us a great quote that took our needs into consideration.
