Tony and Stephanie are absolutely wonderful! Tony was the DJ for our wedding and he definitely exceeded our expectations. Prior to the wedding day, Tony spent over an hour on the phone with us going over every little detail and request to make sure he gave us everything we wanted. We had DJ Marco do our wedding last weekend. He and Tony were great to work with. We collaborated on a pretty eclectic playlist that included French, Italian, Lebanese music with a large dose of classic rock and "old school" dance tunes. My wedding was in May of this year, we hired Tony from Nor Cal Pro Sound for our DJ. He came highly recommended to us and was absolutely wonderful. We are still receiving compliments from our wedding guests. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ - he allowed our guests to make requests so that they felt they were really a part of our wedding. He also kept our wedding guests dancing all night long. He was very attentive - he brought the entire wedding party drinks when we needed them and really went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time. I hired a harpist for our wedding - she canceled a week before our wedding. I had the bridal party processional and recessional music chosen. Tony spent extra time with my husband and I to re-work all the music. I was panicked and he had it all worked out on the day of the wedding. I had wedding guests that complimented me on my outdoor music and we had a very windy day and the music came through beautiful. It was really important to my husband and I to have a DJ that fit into our wedding - we have been to weddings where you feel like it's the DJ show and it really takes away from the wedding couple and their special day - Tony blended into our wedding and was still noticed for all the wonderful things he did for us that day. Willie was the DJ at our office holiday party at the Villa Chanticleer. He was awesome. He knew the venue so was comfortable with his surroundings and he knew how to read the room. I worked with Tony to get everything we were looking for within our budget. We wanted uplighting in the wedding ballroom and a DJ for a good amount of hours. Tony set us up with DJ Alex and he was AMAZING. My cousin played the guitar and he made sure the mic was all set up for him. My husband and officiant were mic'd up and there was a free standing mic for my sisters to read poems during the ceremony. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Alex made everything go so smoothly with no technical issues! and what i particularly appreciated was that during the later hours when we were dancing, if the crowd was particularly jamming to a certain type of music he kept playing it and getting the crowd pumped. I was so sad when 11pm came and they turned the lights on and music off. We are so happy we chose Nor Cal Pro Sound for our wedding DJ services! It was an absolute pleasure working with Tony and our DJ, Willie G. One of the best vendor experiences we had! They were both extremely responsive and helpful during the planning stages. For instance, we were slightly confused about some of the wording in the contract, so Tony called me and discussed the issue and ended up amending the contract right away. They use an online planning tool that makes it easy to choose all of the songs for the various parts of the event. We video chatted with Willie G twice in the lead up to our wedding, discussing music styles for the dance party, our specific choices for the ceremony, etc. We felt good about everything during the planning, but we were still blown away by how well things went at the wedding. Willie G visited the venues beforehand (unasked) to get familiar with the layout, and he even came to the rehearsal so we could practice everything with our chosen music. Everything went perfectly at the ceremony, then it was time for dinner and the dance party. Here, again, Willie G went above and beyond our expectations. Due to some communication issues at the reception venue, the coordinator we thought would be there left early, so no one was really in charge of the schedule (toasts, dancing, cutting the cake...). Willie G stepped in and basically ran the reception for us, coordinating with the venue staff and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. It was amazing!! Finally it was time for dancing, and we were not disappointed. Willie G had everybody on the dance floor, from our 5 year old cousins to our college buddies to our grandparents! It was just so much fun - he took requests, he read the crowd, and he even took some great pictures and videos that he transferred to us before leaving. We couldn't have wished for anything more!! I was put in charge of the music. I started by looking on Yelp and contacted a DJ (not Tony) who had a ton of good reviews. He was booked but suggest Tony. From my first contact with Tony, he was extremely personable, professional and very organized. Leading up to the event, we met and spoke about what I wanted. It was important for me that the DJ not be cheesy and in the face of the guests, talking over the music all the time or being corny. I also wanted a say in the music selection. Tony assured me that he could execute the vibe I described and he delivered. He and his company have a software system for selecting music for your event. It was pretty cool. It allows you to preview songs, pick must plays, give notes to Tony, select his dance songs etc. It was really simple to use and helpful. On the day of the event, Tony was awesome. The songs were well mixed and he had a good sense of how to get people to dance and have fun by the music order/selection. He followed all our requests to a tee and even some last minute changes. The sound quality was excellent and there were no technical glitches. He definitely knew what he was doing and took care of business. I obviously would hire him again. He was great. My husband and I can say for sure it was the best money we spent on the wedding. Tony was great he helped make our wedding a wonderful evening. Like many have said he kept the dance floor full till the very end. In fact several times during the evening people were planning to leave and he would play a song and they would run back tot the Dance floor. He provided us a custom play list of all we wanted to hear. You get to pick the song you want to play before the wedding and special dances Being who we are we like a lot of showtunes and musical numbers. I gave Tony a list of songs we wanted played for the first few hours and he found the most amazing tracks to play. He provided all the equipment and lights for the dance floor. He also for an extra fee provided some amazing uplighting that help bring together our Venue. We had our event at the Argonaut Hotel on Fisherman Warf. I highly recommenced that place as well. We threw him a curve ball because we didn't relize it was Fleet week that weekend. Traffic was a mess and getting to the venue was hard. Tony tool it all in stride and arrive no problem. We had our wedding in Stinson Beach at a venue that is new to the wedding scene, so we were nervous about our vendors not being familiar with the lay out of everything. Tony and Fabian were so responsive and helped answer all of our questions. Tony coordinated with the owner of the venue to go check it out since he had never seen the place so that they could properly plan for our wedding. We had Fabian as our DJ- and he was PERFECT. He answered any questions we had before, and was super responsive. He totally rocked the music choices during the wedding, he had our guests dancing all night. He also did a really great job dealing with all of our guests' request, including personalized raps and surprise dances from some of them. There's honestly not anything I would recommend to improve from Fabian.
