The communication: Betty was always available to speak with us. Of course we were a nervous wreck and called/emailed quite often. Not once did we feel like we were pushed away or put on the back burner. After each call or email we were at ease because all of our questions were answered. In addition, the response time was impressive and that we did not have to wait for more than a day to hear back from Betty. If she wasn't available at that moment, the other staff members were able to answer our questions right away and pick up right where we left off. 2. Betty's expertise and suggestions: The advice she had given us was priceless. She was always willing to work with us and our budget. She helped with our decoration idea and was not afraid to let us know there were better options to capture our vision. In no way did she pressure us out of our comfort zone and press us to rent or add on more of their services. 3. Their services: in addition to the day of coordination service we also rented some of their decorations and supplies. UniqueChic is the full package service all in one location. Had we known they did it all at the start of our wedding planning we would have been able to taken advantage of their package deals if we did not already made other commitments.

I hired LED Robots Los Angeles for my 30th birthday to create a fun, club-like vibe with dancers,…read morerobots, and energy. I booked the Mega Package ($1,799 after a $200 discount), which included 6 dancers, LED foam sticks, and a CO2 gun for 2 hours. Unfortunately, what I got was a complete letdown and not at all what was promised. After placing a $600 deposit, I got a call from Gus, the owner. He promised me an incredible show, dancers entertaining the entire time with brief breaks, robots rotating in, and a finale with all six performers. A few days later, he requested another $300 deposit, which I sent immediately. The morning of my event, Gus called saying he hadn't received any deposit and that he was canceling my booking. I panicked, told him I'd already sent two deposits, and only then did he apologize and say he called the wrong "Valentina." That was my first red flag, total lack of organization. When the performers arrived, Gus insisted I pay the $900 remaining balance before the show even started. I regret sending the payment before the performance because what followed did not justify the price tag at all. * The robots arrived 30 minutes late. * The dancers only performed twice for about 10-15 minutes each. * The robots also only came out twice, briefly. * There was no grand finale as promised. * When I asked the dancers when they'd be back out, one of them said "Gus told us to go home." She even apologized and said she'd love to stay but wasn't allowed to. * They didn't bring the LED foam sticks. * Gus lied about the CO2 gun, saying the venue didn't allow it--when in reality, the manager simply asked him to test it for safety. Gus then admitted he forgot it. * He told me he wouldn't be attending the event, but the dancers referred to one of the robots as "Gus." Turns out he was there performing in costume and even knew one of my guests. Why lie? I even made sure the dancers were treated well--gave them a private room to rest in, offered them drinks and made sure they were comfortable. After the event, we reached out on instagram and text and Gus acknowledged I didn't receive what I paid for and said he would issue a partial refund. Weeks later, I've received nothing. This company was unprofessional, disorganized, and dishonest. The service did not match the price, the promises, or the hype. I absolutely do not recommend booking LED Robots LA. Save your money, your energy, and your event.
