I took some jewelry in to sell after my ex-fiancé and I parted ways. I did not have an appointment, and I was still accommodated quickly. They were very honest with me and encouraged me to sell a few of the pieces that were sterling silver with diamond chips on my own, and said they really couldn't offer much for the silver. But they made a fair offer on a gold pendant I also brought in. I ended up selling all the pieces to them because I just didn't feel like dealing with the two silver pieces on my own. I had a Rolex and some gold/diamond rings and necklaces I was considering selling. I've never sold any diamond jewelry so I did some online research for places (not pawn shops) that buy diamonds and came across DJP Diamonds. They had a lot of really good ratings/reviews on more than one site. I scheduled a time to meet with Danny. He was great with showing me the factors that go into grading a Rolex, how my diamonds compared on the scale, and how much gold was in my items using a scanner gun that measures the amount. He gave me quotes on everything. I sold one item and started feeling guilt about selling the other items. Absolutely no pressure or trying to convince me to sell. Danny told me if/when I was ready I could come back. Danny actually said he likes for people to go to other places before coming to him so they could see that they're getting a better price. Since I was having reluctance to sell, I went to a couple of other places days after and didn't get better quotes than Danny's. A week later I was back at DJP.
