Warning to my Neighbors:…read more This is about Steve's Automotive. I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for years. I am a loyal customer. I have referred a few dozens of folks to this shop. I am very proactive and always keep my vehicles maintained and serviced on time. My father was a automotive mechanic for 40 years and I grew up in his shop. I know how the job is done properly. I've done the same job a few dozen times. I don't have time due to work so I pay you guys to do it. I'm not sure what has happen in the last year, but this shop is awful now. Very unprofessional, dishonest, negligent, and unwilling to repair their mistakes. The car was un drivable due to their mistakes after taking it back multiple times. Wow I guess they can't figure out how to drain and fill the rear diff on a nissan Xterra with out it leaking. How could a customer not lose confidence after bringing it back 3 times and then they refuse to fix their mistakes and say your no longer a customer. I will have the nissan dealer inspect the vehicle and send them the bill due to their blatant negligence. I will also be reporting them to the BBB. I sincerely do not recommend this shop for these reasons.

I did my research before coming to Aasby so I knew what the going rate was for these parts and services, and they gave me rates that came in less than the comparable shops. After looking at my car they were straight forward with me and didn't try to "upsell" or talk me into more auto work. I felt confident that they did a great job and 100% know they didn't try and take advantage of me because I was a woman. I was also very pleased with the friendly staff. My son mentioned Hazelrigg's so I called, got an appointment scheduled and the work was done quickly and at a fair and completely normal price without trying to rob me. And my son took in his truck that had been parked, unmoved for more than 3 years and they did excellent work to get it running again at a fair price and very timely. I had gone to an auto parts store for a diagnosis, which they gave me, but as it was a Sunday, hardly anyone was open except for Stewart's All About Auto. When I called him and told him the issue, he gave me several possibilities. When I asked when I could see him, he actually offered to come to where I was and fix it. I happened to be at church during that time and he fixed it right before the service was over. Not only this, but the next day when the issue seemed to come again, he repaired the issue with no additional labor charges. He was reasonably priced and made certain I was not overcharged for parts or labor. The fact that he came to where I was to fix my car was even better than I could have expected. I highly recommend this business and will be dealing with them from now on in the future.
