Our builder (Churchill Classics) charged an arm and a leg, and we didn't want to go back to them for another quote, so I scheduled over 15 contractors to come out in 2 days. Of the contractors that came out, Agustin was the first. He was on time, knowledgeable, and gave me plenty of ammunition to go up against the remaining contractors. Although Creative Exteriors Plus was one of the most expensive options we looked at, it was also the only truly professional experience that left a great taste in my mouth going forward. Augustin of Creative Exteriors Plus is fantastic! I always look for contractors with strong integrity, who are honest, and who have no issues answering even the dumbest of questions. Agustin not only gave me peace of mind when meeting us, but he was also very open and honest about everything, from the work, scheduling, payment, and timeframe, to the actual products he used. Before screening in our deck, I wanted to stain/seal the deck and power wash it but didn't want to spend the extra capital getting it professionally done. Agustin also helped walk me through products to look at, steps to properly power wash, and troubleshooting via text the whole way through. At one point, I mentioned that my Google caller ID had picked up another business name, Prime Construction Corp, and I wanted to verify if this was related to him or what the connection was. Agustin called me right away and explained that it was an old business they contracted with bigger vendors, but during COVID, they pivoted and no longer have any affiliation with that business. He was quite surprised it popped up with his number. We had a great laugh about it, and I really appreciated how straightforward he was with this information. I love his transparency and honesty throughout the whole process, and we even contacted him again about possibly screening in/putting a roof over our walkup basement door. He was very candid, advising that having the window on the side and a lack of trees nearby would attribute to more cost and effort than a solid result. After brainstorming, we came up with the idea of buying screens and velcroing them around the rails (haven't put this plan into action yet), but I very much appreciate his candor and encouragement that this is a project I can do myself. The entire project was done in roughly 3 days: two days of work back to back, and then 1 Saturday due to rain. The screen is so beautifully and meticulously done that it doesn't even look like a screen is there. His team also managed to perfectly match our current post layout when constructing a new post and adding a door. The door also comes with a cool feature: it has a window that slides down. They also included 2 new keys for the door, and Agustin did a full walkthrough with us to ensure we were fully happy with the results. Before completing the deck, his team also power washed the bug gunk off the deck and removed some of the remaining tape I had forgotten to remove when I stained the deck. He also offered to come back and install our ceiling fan once we actually pick one out. He's local and always just a short text away if I need anything. I cannot recommend Creative Exteriors Plus enough and absolutely rave about Agustin to everyone I know! Thank you so much for all of your hard work, and we will definitely be using you again in the near future for fencing/patio options.

Antonio and Jose installed a side yard and front yard wood fence for us. In total it was…read moreapproximately 200 feet of fence. Part solid wood, part picket. They worked very hard despite cold winter temperatures and completed the job in a timely manner. They took their time laying the posts and carefully measuring the distances and property line. Antonio is very detail oriented and made sure that we were comfortable with the property line and we discussed how the fence would flow given the grade of the property. I appreciated that he is definitely of the "measure twice (or three times), cut once" mindset and I felt like he was very focused on getting it right and making sure that I was comfortable before starting the install. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush this job to hurry off to another project. His team left our yard spotless during and after the install and graciously cleared bushes and brush in order to install the fence in the first place. Any time I had a question about the project or needed clarification, Antonio was quick to call or text me. He is very customer service oriented and puts a lot of effort into maintaining open lines of communication and partnering with his clients to get the job done right. Every day he said he would show up to work, he did, and he was always available by text (day or night, including weekends). His communication skills are amazing and his good nature and positive attitude made the project go smoothly, despite some external forces (that had nothing to do with Antonio and his team) that made it unnecessarily challenging. He indicated that "minor" items like moving the position of footings could be taken care of during the work. (REALLY??!) I disagreed and insisted that he revise the drawings; he refused because he had already applied for the permit. My town also requires a permit. According to the contract, he was to obtain all permits necessary to start work. He refused to pay for the town permit, or to return my money so I could obtain the permit. When confronted with his unprofessional "we'll just modify the plans as we build" approach, he became very unfriendly and told me this was all my fault. I'm trying to understand why it is my fault that he did not revise the architectural drawings to my satisfaction BEFORE applying for a permit. Steer clear of this organization--buyer beware!

We were impressed by the reviews Seneca Creek had gotten and decided to give them a try when we learned that they had experience installing EcoStar, a slate look-a-like shingle. I was further impressed by project manager Tim Bissell's attention to detail in the planning and his ability to reply to our calls almost immediately. The project also included re-siding four dormers, not to mention the removal of existing 150 year-old slate as well as some 30 year-old-asphalt shingles. The siding team came first and were here four days. They came early and worked constantly all day and stayed late to cleanup - not leaving until dark. Then came the roofing team. They, soo, arrived before starting time and did not leave until it was nearly dark. They were here a week and all that time kept the yard picked up, neat and orderly after the end of each day. I would definitely recommend Seneca Creek if you are interviewing roofing and/or siding companies. In 50 years (EcoStar has a 50 year warranty!) I will call them again myself!

Waited nearly two weeks for the quote and get a call they don't "replace" and confirmed they said they only do new construction per the "manager". Missed HOA deadline for May due to waiting on this final quote to make my decision to submit the application. Frustrating. They clearly didn't want the job or update your website to remove "deck replacement".
