I had my air ducts cleaned and they did an excellent job. They were punctual and professional. Their knowledge base prompted a temporary stop as we sorted the origin of some water around the registers. It was from my mopping just before they came, but they took the time to sort that out and then proceeded. I don't know where to start. We've used this company in the past, with no issues, but apparently it is being run by a different person now. She had little to no experience, very unorganized. Wet puddles were left on the carpet, which took hours to dry with towels and fans. It was a nightmare. We discovered some stains left behind as well. So disappointed. Whoever ran this business before, needs to come back. We would have been further ahead renting a carpet cleaner from Safeway. read more

Jennifer, the current owner of DKB Restoration, has been a blessing to my family! Originally scheduled to clean my new home's air ducts AND shampoo the existing carpets, she discovered the presence of pet urine saturation in 20% or more of the carpet and told me it would be best to replace rather than to attempt cleaning. As a lifelong sensitive person (reactive to pollen, dander, fragrance, the sun...), this was a wonderful bit of cautionary advice for which I will be forever grateful. The air duct cleaning was fabulous. Richard was very skilled at his job and took great care with the ladder he needed to use to reach a high up vent. Both Richard and Jennifer were very honest about noticing rust on register vent covers which was news to me as a new resident. Very transparent and informative communication. We have had the BEST experience with Dan from DKB. I feel like I've been a horrible client seeing as I've used his services several times and have yet to write a review! If you like a down to earth kinda guy who knows exactly what's he's doing this is your man! He knows his stuff! I have WHITE carpets, and he painstakingly makes them beautiful time after time with his rotovac system, and I believe he even hand rubbed our stairs with a treatment that makes them a lovely bright white again. You did do a good job cleaning our carpet. I hope in the future you refrain from off-topic, controversial conversations with your clients. I have amended my rating based on your reply to a slightly higher score. Initial post: I had used this carpet cleaner before without issue, but my latest interaction with him was very negative. He came to my house for the appointment and the first thing he said to me, even before "hello", was that I did not need to wear a mask as they were no longer required for people who were vaccinated. (Our governor had just eased the restrictions a couple days prior, in accordance with the CDC). I explained that he was making a wrong assumption, as I was not yet fully vaccinated (I was waiting on my second shot). He said he didn't need a mask because he had covid before, but people who have had covid can and do get reinfected. I did not appreciate him putting me and my family at risk, nor did I appreciate his unprofessional behavior. It was such a weird, unnecessary interaction. Why did he think I wanted his opinion on mask wearing? He's a carpet cleaner, for god's sake! I will never use this company again and do not recommend them to others. read more

Daniel arrived last week to clean the carpet in my mother-in-law's apartment. She is 98 and does not get around well. The carpet had not been cleaned in the 10 years that she's lived there. I warned Daniel before he saw the carpet that it was terribly dirty and stained, and that I did not expect perfection. Daniel had a look around and agreed with me that it was in pretty rough shape! Daniel quickly got busy and as it is a small place, completed his work sooner than I'd anticipated. When I went back in to have a look, I was absolutely amazed because the carpet was perfect! Every stain was gone, the carpet looks and smells like new, and after it dried it still looks perfect. None of the staining reappeared as I've had happen in the past. Cleaning those carpets will now be done on at least an annual basis, and the job will be scheduled with DKB Restoration! read more

Very professionell and efficient. They had a sale on 4 rooms, 5th room free, which Dan offered when we talked on the phone to arrange the appointment. Donald, the young man who cleaned our carpets was very friendly and did a good job on the carpets. The carpets were dirtiest where we always walk from kitchen to living room and didn't get fully clean but it was our first professional cleaning and the carpet is 5 years old... so this might just be as good as it gets. The carpets were rather wet, took 2.5 days to dry. Also all the transition areas from wood floor to carpet are still dirty looking. Maybe should have prepped these areas first or they didn't want to get too close to the wood? read more

Over the years I have had my carpets cleaned but this was a new experience. First, the machine he used was more like a buffer than just a water/vacuum attachment I have seen so many times before. He walked all the carpets and tried to ID the stains. He used different pre treats on different stains. He was able to got every single stain. My 13 year old carpets look like new. read more

DKB is a great company to use. I called them to clean my carpets and couches, and when they arrived, they immediately started. Using the rotovac was a great idea. It made my carpets A LOT cleaner. I also have two dogs, and when the job was done, they showed me the huge chunk of nasty built up fur. I have a Dyson vacuum and thought it would pick up enough fur, but I was wrong. Other than the long dry time of the carpets, couches and water spots on a few furniture areas, my house looks and smells ten times better. I'd highly recommend them because of their detailed cleaning. I plan on using them again when I move. read more

Came to clean our air ducts. They are clean so far, air is clear. He even came on New Years Day, last minute as we called him New Years eve. So that was pretty good, and flat fee of $399 when others were charging $800 for same service. Took away a star because at one point he turned on his machine and there was an attachment hole that I had seen him put a piece of cardboard on and it would provide the machine more suction. At one point, the piece was not on there and he turned on the machine while showing us something and it blew out dust with force onto our faces making me literally start a coughing storm. My husband tried to tell him and the man just kind of shrugged it off, saying that the machine should not have done that. No apology or checking of the machine to see if it may have malfunction. Let me tell you that when I say that I've tried every company in the area...I have tried everyone. I don't know if I just didn't feel using Yelp in the past or what, but I should of. I sent a message and Dan quickly replied with a date that he could come out. Now the date was about a week and half from then... it I was ok with that. When Dan showed up, he explained his process and was training a young gentleman. I stuck around them just because they were great people and even better conversation. Dan ensured that my carpets and couch were cleaned to the same specs as if he were cleaning his own. You could tell that the quality of work was a direct reflection of his pride and work ethic. I found Dan on Yelp and based on 1 review, I took the risk to use his carpet cleaning services for my house. The result? I was glad I took the risk! Dan and his team did a FANTASTIC job cleaning my carpet. It really did look brand new after. Also, he is very professional and good at what he does. This company is great. When you first make an appointment, you get an email confirming the appointment. Then on the day of service, you get a text when he is heading out to your house. He arrived on time, asked a lot of questions about our concerns, knew exactly where my house sitters puppies had "marked" the carpet and cleaned to perfection. The carpet did take a long time to dry but I think it was because he was trying to bring up all the "dog issues" from the pad. As long as I have carpet, this company will be the one I call. read more

We had a horrible experience with this company. First they were an hour late then forgot the equipment. The quality of cleaning wasn't as good as We received from others. After they cleaned the carpets there was a rip. They said the cleaner made a note of it but never told us, so I think they were hoping we wouldn't notice. They said they would send someone out and all they did was put a sticker on it and we still have this rip down our carpet. When we were paying the repair guy he wouldn't name a price until we told them how much the cleaners say they would pay then he added 75 dollars super sketchy. We paid just to get them out of our house. Won't use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more
