After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

I had a leak in the line going to one of my B and Bs. And needed it fixed. I'm a full time caretaker now and can't leave my house for long. Bye the time there sales man came the water was terned off. found the leak exposed the line. Called at 1:00 Plummer was not out tell 5. Worked done 6:30. Thats just shy of 5000.00 for 4 foot of pole line 2 clamps. 2 barbs. Brake down of price was 450.00 for parts. For 20.00 in parts. That's a 2150% mark up 500.00 for equipment. Truck, shovel, shop vac. 2 tools. 3500.00 laber.... Plummer was boots on the ground for 1 1/2 hr. With drive time 3 hr. I do know that bid was for 5 ft of ground work. Any more would have add to the price. Had there been any more brakes in the line. Talked to manger just so you know there average cost is 1000.00 an hr. Plus tax equipment and parts. Also the plummer told my b and b guest that the filters where dirty is why the water was discolered resolting in a reimbursement for there stay. The water is discolered any time you turn water off on a well. Most times clears in 24 hr. Just wont to put this out there so some ones grandma dose not get fleeced bye this company. If you call around this should have been in the 1000.00 range.... even the sales man when talking to the Plummer was saying it was supper easy job. No rocks or roots. Already know where the leak is. They did a flawless job at a reasonable price, completely erasing any sign of the damage. We have already brought them back for two additional projects. Here is what sets Restorion apart from both a management and execution standpoint: Total Transparency: They provided highly detailed, itemized estimates complete with photos. Whenever the scope shifted, they immediately supplied updated paperwork. Because of this meticulous tracking, their final invoice actually came in under the original estimate after we removed a few line items. Outstanding Communication: The office sent an update to the HOA Board every evening, and the crew always arrived when scheduled. They explained the technical details without ever talking down to us. Site Management and Safety: Their containment barriers, PPE, and ventilation systems were top-tier, keeping our living spaces clean and their crew safe. They also maintained a meticulous, regular cleanup schedule. Professionalism: All the work, except for the final painting, was completed by Restorion employees, not subcontractors. That made me feel comfortable leaving the building (and my home, particularly) in their care while they worked. Every staff member was exceptionally gracious and respectful with the different personalities in our building. Special thanks to Emanuel, Ricardo, and Stephanie. José, the owner, was also amazing

I hired H2O Away to remedy the situation. They sent some guys out. I checked the crawlspace afterwards and the work wasn't completed. After some back and forth they sent a different crew out. They also put a dehumidifier down there as agreed. Unfortunately the dehumidifier was pointless as the work still wasn't completed and the mold wasn't remedied. The original person I spoke to ghosted me but I found someone else to talk to. They offered to come out and try a third time but we agreed instead to terminate our business relationship and pay a discounted amount. I get that paying for staff and equipment costs money, but in the end I still paid about $2k for services that had approximately $0 value to me as I still needed to do the work myself. A contractor friend of mine said to be really careful about who you get to work in your crawlspace. Companies that work down there get the lowest paid, least qualified guys to do those undesirable jobs. As at my house, they often don't actually complete the work because most homeowners won't go down there to verify it was actually done. I am inclined to agree. I would guess that many of the positive reviews are from people who trusted that the work was done rather than verifying it themselves. The picture is from after their second visit. Stay way from H2O Away.

They did come really quickly, but all they did when they got there was mark what was wet. It was odd. This happened right before we went on vacation, and luckily they said they would be able to take care of it in the week we were out of town. In my mind- take care of it meant get everything fixed, I was so wrong. The day we were flying home, an HVAC guy we had never met or been in contact with called to say he could not install our heat because our house was such a mess. I was shocked and called H20 Away to see what had happened. Our coordinator was not in contact with the people who were at our house and had no idea. We ended up coming home from our trip to no heat, no water, and a house that looked like it had been torn up by animals. We had NO idea they were going to remove our shower, all of our cabinets and countertops, our stove, and our HVAC. This was all done without our knowledge. Our coordinator and scheduler never really knew what was happening inside the house, which was super challenging. The project took about a month, with barely any progress happening on each visit. We also had a different HVAC guy show up at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday. I called H20 away to ask about it and they said they gave him our door code and figured we wouldn't be home. WTF? This scared us. I was grateful they worked with our insurance directly, but they really misled us in terms of the scope of work, how long it would take, the quality of the work, etc. Our house is completely torn up. The contractor they recommended we work with to fix it has 2 stars on Yelp, so I will just be cutting contact with them going forward since our insurance has already paid them out (for an OBSCENE amount based on the work they did). The people are nice and they came over quickly, but the work itself as well as the communication and schedule was super disappointing.
