Two workers moved all furniture out and back in systematically, removing moulding and replacing it when room was finished. After flooring they returned to re do as the matte was too matte, after 4 months I noticed splitting in the cracks of the coating. It took 15 years to see the cracks on the first coating done professionally. I believe they watered down or thinned down the coating. This is why the 3.5 rating. The original crew showed up on time but did a poor job on the steps. Owner had to come back and re-paint the walls on the stairs. Due to rain, they coated in a small foyer where light was very low the walls o the stairs, when looked in daylight very uneven coating. It is now one year since they have been here, and I see the floors deteriorating much faster. I would do more research on the company before hiring them. There price was reasonable, but the project grew from one room to two rooms and then a stairwell, then a hallway and then one more room. All due to color and rooms flowing into each other. The color has to match. They accommodated me well, but I think the quality was on the poor side.

After looking around at flooring places in our area (Ocean Township) we checked out Fox Floors and boy are we glad we did! I love wall-to-wall carpet (every place I've ever lived had it) but my wife wanted hard flooring. Marshall is THE MAN! He is such a super salesman! So laid back (so caring and not pushy in the slightest) and explained everything so nicely to us and let us take home samples because it's really hard to imagine what each thing is going to look like just by looking at it at the store. He said that most people get hard flooring nowadays so we decided on getting new wall-to-wall carpeting upstairs for the bedrooms, hallway and stairway (to satisfy me) and we should get hard flooring to replace the carpet and tile downstairs in the living room, dining room, foyer and hallway (to satisfy my wife). Marshall was so great with our schedule of doing it. The guys that did it were great! So fast and precise! And it wasn't easy. The ground floor (we're on a slab, no basement) had to be leveled out because the tiled part (foyer and kitchen) was higher than the carpeted part. Everything came out fantastic! The hard flooring looks like wood and the carpeted stairway and upstairs in so super cushiony! We love it! Quality products and quality workmanship! We couldn't be happier! Thank you Marshall, Bob, Mr. and Mrs. Fox and the whole working crew! Thank you Fox Floors! - Rob and Joyce PS - And it's worth it just to go to the showroom to see the amazing carpets that Marshall made of rock stars! Totally awesome!!

I am so unhappy with their work and I advise everyone to beware.

We moved into a house that needed to have the old hardwood floors redone, and wanted to add matching hardwood seamlessly into the bedrooms with carpet (and only plywood underneath). We were referred to these guys by a friend who had used them a few times before for different projects. Adam (the owner of Carpet and Flooring Connoisseurs) come out and measured, and showed us a bunch of samples of different finishes, gave us a quote that was very close to the other 3 quotes we received, but between the online reviews, the recommendation from our friend, and finally the option for the natural Woca oil finish (the other quotes were for poly only), we went with Adam. (As far as I understand, Woca is basically a natural wood hardener which isn't as shiny as poly, and actually seals into the wood instead of sitting on top of it - google Woca for more info) They delivered the wood upon deposit, and after it acclimated to our home for a few days, they did the following: Sanded the old floors down, replaced part of the hallway where the old floor had some damage, fixed a big water stain in a main room, tore up the old subfloor top layer and added new hardwood to the 3 bedrooms, and did the Woca oil finish. From the start of the work (not counting delivery and acclimation of wood) they started on a Monday and were out by Thursday night. (Then there were 2 additional days we waited for the finish to set before we could walk on it - didn't want to ruin it!) The final product is beautiful, and you can't even tell where the old floor ends and the new begins. The Woca finish feels a lot different than poly - imagine how a freshly sanded butcher block feels, it's really soft on our feet. See pictures attached here as well. Adam was great, they worked with us on scheduling and returned emails and calls quickly, his crew was totally professional (and super fast), and we would honestly recommend these guys to anyone.

Could have purchased the same cabinets and countertop at a Big Box store, but might have ended up with a 21 inch sink as requested, and not a 21 inch sink base, which resulted in an 18 inch sink - the difference was never explained. But the big problem was the contractor Lisa highly recommended as a "craftsman" - George Evans. He continuously made misrepresentations about timing (gross delays, even by contractor's standards). A number of important elements needed to be redone (e.g., wrong type/color of paint, counter top design and grout), because he did not follow specific written and verbal instructions, and could not focus on time management, details, and task completion. He persistently gave excuses and blamed others (subcontractors) for delays and errors; after a point, he lost credibility. We ended up accepting his mistakes as design compromises, just to get the job done and get George out of the house. Bottom Line: I CANNOT recommend Kitchen Krafter.

After contacting our insurance company we began a search for new kitchen cabinets. We visited the large box stores (Lowes and Home Depot) but were unhappy with both the pricing (even after "discounts") and the level of expertise of the employees assigned to the kitchen department. A friend told us of Kitchen Krafter and my wife and I decided to try them. We were helped by Lisa and Carla, two of the most knowledgeable kitchen cabinet people I have ever met! After innumerable phone calls and questions, we purchased our kitchen cabinets and crown molding from them, at a less expensive price then the box stores (same products!). When the cabinets arrived my wife didn't like the grain on one of the cabinet doors (subjective opinion), so Lisa had it quickly exchanged without any problem. Such personnal service and product expertise could not be matched by any other cabinet supplier that we met with. Go with these gals - they are great!
