After flooring they returned to re do as the matte was too matte, after 4 months I noticed splitting in the cracks of the coating. It took 15 years to see the cracks on the first coating done professionally. I believe they watered down or thinned down the coating. This is why the 3.5 rating. The original crew showed up on time but did a poor job on the steps. Owner had to come back and re-paint the walls on the stairs. Due to rain, they coated in a small foyer where light was very low the walls o the stairs, when looked in daylight very uneven coating. It is now one year since they have been here, and I see the floors deteriorating much faster. I would do more research on the company before hiring them. There price was reasonable, but the project grew from one room to two rooms and then a stairwell, then a hallway and then one more room. All due to color and rooms flowing into each other. The color has to match. They accommodated me well, but I think the quality was on the poor side.

The man who answered seemed almost bewildered as to why I was calling. I gave him the name of the person who emailed me and requested to speak to him. He took my number and said that gentleman would call me. Several hours later, the same man I spoke to earlier called me asking why I was requesting a call back. I was confused but just said I am just requesting an estimate. He said and I quote, "well what product will you be using??" I told him I wasn't sure because this is our first time replacing floors. I know I want hardwood but I'm not sure of anything else. I would like someone to come to the house measure the area and give us some information and an estimate. He said, "We have our customers know exactly what product they want before we come out there or else it's just a waste of our time." I thanked him for the call back and hung up. Left a terrible taste in my mouth. I don't know how they do business but I have never experienced a place of business pushing that business away. I guess I will look elsewhere.

One area that buckled actually prevented the front door from opening . The installer had to return twice to fix the buckling, while using all the boxes of flooring I had in reserve. Since then, each winter, my flooring separates in several spots and each winter these separations get wider. In contrast to this I have adjacent areas of flooring that butt up against each other too tightly causing a visual lift at the edges. I am well aware that I am out of warranty but a floor should last longer than 6 years in a home with one occupant. Disappointed , Brick,NJ
