I found a new podiatrist and found out that I had been receiving long time treatment for something I did not even have. I knew I had to find a new podiatrist when Dr. Vekkos came into the room where I was undergoing a VERY painful treatment and told the other doctor to stop because my crying was "not fair to the other patients." Seriously???? It took almost a year to fix the issue, but I am VERY satisfied with my new podiatrist and will NOT be returning.

I made my appointment on ZooDoc for 12:30pm and we arrived to office at 12:40pm. They left me a VM at 12:27pm asking if I was still coming for my appointment. Yes! I was escorting my daughter on crutches due to a broken foot. The building is not Handicap accessible meaning the doors have to be opened manually and there are two Double doors. So good luck getting in if someone cannot manually open doors for a the handicap person. The office is on the second floor which is inconvenient if u cannot walk due to ankle/foot problems. So you have to take an elevator and walk to office. The office door is not handicap assessable so if you are on crutches or walker or wheel chair do not bother with an appointment here.

My treatment started with dry needling and this procedure really helped with my pain. This was just the start as an hour more of therapy got me more mobile. I have seen progress in the few visits and continued workouts at home. My therapist, Michelle, is one of the best therapists I have ever used. Seriously? My toe is sending shooting pain across my foot and up my ankle. Apparently speaking louder to me will make me believe the pain in the toe is not the issue. Unfortunately, the office staff are absolutely terrible. On my first visit, the women were having a loud personal conversation thru the walls. One sat at the reception desk, the other in her office, and they just went on and on about their personal problems. The front desk woman was in training and when I asked questions about my care, she told me she didn't know. On my second visit, her trainer was present so I followed up with my questions thinking she'd have the answers. They both gave me attitude as if I was inconveniencing them for asking. Of course, neither of them would provide me much help. So aggravating, rude, and unprofessional. Same experience as all other reviews, they recommended that I come 2x per week. When they were pushing to schedule the following week's appointments, I decided to hold off until I received my first round of bills. Glad I did and also decided not to return. The treatment costs add up fast and it's definitely not worth dealing with the office staff.
