Southern Painting Coppell/Flower Mound office…read more I cannot say enough good things about Southern painting. They just finished our house in 2- 1/2 days much sooner and better than we expected. The team led by Anna consisted of 3 ladies and 2 men who stayed with us from start to finish and worked non-stop with excellent attitudes and communication. The work consisted of power washing all the to be painted areas, sanding, caulking all wood areas and windows, fixing several trim pieces, even cementing tiles and trim area on an upper deck. Instead of using a hand held piece of cardboard to protect bricks from over spray they covered and taped all the brick around the trim pieces. I asked them to replace trim around a pole that was damaged by our mowers with weed whackers, Southern replaced the wood and covered it with metal to stop damage in the future. The house is 4,000 SQ.-FT, two story brick with lots of trim including several painted patios, painted columns and many other painted areas. They also painted our inside master bath cabinets and some hallways; work was excellent and completed within a day. I bid several painters, thinking with their good reviews and reputation Southern would not come in with the best price, to my surprise they were lower than all by a wide margin. Working with Leo was incredible; we have never had any contractor communicate more and spend time on the job to make sure all went as planned. Roy, his head painter, again came in with his other painters to fix and touch up things that our Reno contractors missed. They stopped by more than once to honor some of the touch up requests we had, because they're that committed to keeping their customers happy and making sure they did an A+ job. They painted the inside of our entire house, the cabinets and shelves, and white washed our fireplace. They are also the only contractors we trusted enough to let back into our home after we had moved in, if that says anything. He fixed our toilet (he actually came back on Thursday again to look at it because there was a tiny issue), helped us patch up 2 toilet paper rolls, and tacked on an adhesive to a tiny hole that was causing our shower door to leak. Just recommend you clearly understand 1) what he is not going to install or fix that your insurance approved, 2) what RtR is installing that isn't covered by your insurance (deductable + shingles + ridge caps + wider gutters + ??) and exactly how many checks and the total sum you will be paying them for their roof vs other offers.
