I started my Green card process in 2017 with another attorney and he royally screwed up my case. It's extremely important to do your research before hiring an attorney to make sure he can help you and knows how to handle your type of case. After our marriage interview we were only approved for our I130 and our I485 was left administratively closed. We had to fix some things in order to open it again. I started to look for a new attorney after my old one had no clue what this was. I found David and I really wish he was my first attorney because this process isn't easy. My case was a very complicated immigration case. My husband and I went to our marriage interview and from there everything got sour, because I had a past marriage case that according to the USCIS was unresolved. Our case got stuck in immigration in ways that no lawyer in California has ever seen before. Our immigration officer denied my case and sent NOD letters without any legal basis for years, and the most frustrating part was waiting 6 to 9 months for each response letter to arrive. Immigration got many things mixed up many times and even after we won an appeal we still waited around 6 years to receive my green card. If it wasn't for lawyers like David, cases like mine submissively retrieve and never confront the USCIS. Since I got here to US 18 years ago I've worked with at least 5 different immigration lawyers (for different working visas and my green card) and I can tell you with no doubt David is the best!! What makes him really good is the combination of these 4 things: 1. He knows the law really well and has a strong practice combined with his willingness to do deep research to strategize the best route for his clients, based on his years of experience and the fact that he is very familiarized with the way the whole LA USCIS Building works. 2.
