Almost 9 years, roughly $15,000 down the drain, stressful and sleepless nights and NO RESULT. We originally hired MM for help and research on my husband's immigration matter and paid $500 to start. We were given hope so we decided to continue with MM. We submitted waiver/applications for NVC ($445), it was never followed up on so they closed the case. After case was closed MM said there was no need for it. 601-A waiver ($2500 for lawyer fee + 601A application fee) which was returned from USCIS a couple of months after being submitted and never got any type of refund or credit since it was lawyers mistake for submitting at the incorrect time/when not needed. I-212 waiver ($2500 for lawyer fee + I-212 application fee) which was never again followed up on again and pending for years. BIA forms to reopen his case ($1750). Luckily that reopened and he was able to get a court date. Paid $5000 for the lawyer to file, appear before the Immigration Judge and litigate his case in January 2024. A couple of days prior to his court the DHS submitted a motion to dismiss his case, served notice on 01/12/2024 to MM, MM submitted an opposition and was received at the courthouse on 01/20/2024 which was a Saturday. Judge granted DHS request because she didn't receive the opposition within the past week per Judge. If MM would have submitted the paperwork immediately (like the judge herself said) and there would have been proper follow up calls to confirm that it was received and not wait until last minute, possibly we would have had a result. Not just this but we paid for other things that popped up here and there like psych evaluations to (help his case) that were requested by MM. This office is horrible at follow ups, you have to constantly be asking or else they don't follow up with you. Not just that, but it annoys them when you email them to ask for follow-ups. Billing is horrible (Claudia) on multiple occasions wanted to charge me again for services that were paid for. She emailed me saying that she had no record of any payments made, luckily, I keep all receipts so I would have to prove to her by sending all my receipts. Save yourself time and money, look elsewhere! read more

If I could give this lawyer no stars I would. My parent's process has been in her office for more than six years. Earlier in the year she called to let us know my parents case was denied and we should start all over again. At that time we explained our concerns how I was dealing with depression, college plus our home expenses. She seemed to understand but something was off. I was able to google how to get a complete copy of my parents file because when we asked her she only provided the convenient documents and not the complete file. Upon receiving the complete file I noticed that when Immigration requested additional documents and my family and I struggled to get them, she did not submit the response on time. The request was specific on the due date and her FedEx label says it was delivered way after it was due; the real reason my father's case was denied. Mackenzie reduced the price and convinced us to start the process again, guaranteed my parent's would receive a social security card and work permit within a four to five month span, it has been more than nine months and nothing. When she agreed to reduce the fee, I believed it was in good faith but I was very wrong, she's only out for herself. Mackenzie started off good but now she's just money hungry. We strongly feel that Mackenzie only cares about money and not her clients. I've heard similar stories from other family members, one family member told us that Mackenzie was charging over $8 thousand for the the family together plan and wanted all the money up front, I refused to believe them since she offered payment plans, now it makes sense why she wanted the complete payment. She prepared herself in case the plan would not pass. Mackenzie took advantage of our community, she knew something like the family plan would probably not happen again. We are very disappointed! Please save your time and money and go somewhere else. At this point a Notary would be better than Mackenzie, at least with a notary you know up front that they only care about money. Google says I can file a complaint with the bar association if the attorney engaged in unethical behavior such as: failing to communicate effectively, neglecting your case, charging excessive fees, conflicts of interest, misrepresenting information, or not following your instructions, essentially breaching their professional obligations as a lawyer. Based on these, Mackenzie fits all the boxes, if anyone reading this feels cheated or has concerns about their case please contact another attorney and file a complain so she doesn't continue doing this to others. read more

Went in for a consultation, everything Mackins said sounded promising and I got her the documents needed to proceed my moms case, she responded back saying she would start on the case but never reached back out after that. I tried to contact her several times but no response. It was a total waste of time. Do not come here, they will just take your money and get your hopes up. read more

My case was a fairly easy case. Almost 3 years and nothing has been resolved. Everything was paid upfront including application fees. I always have to call since they never know what is going on or call to say how my case is going. Finaly at almost 3 years of my life and money waisted for something that i yet am to receive finally was able to speak to makansy over the phone ("because she is always busy"). I was done being patient and expressed my frustration because everything was done wrong and i have to pay all over again and makansy got mad told me to have a nice life and hungs up. So yes i am beyond upset with the way they work. Its awful and don't recomend at all. Get someone better who is more experienced and won't screw you over. read more

Mackenzie Mackings is a very unsatisfactory attorney at law , recently I ask her to help me out to obtain a Visa for my daughter in Mexico, I followed so much steps she directed me to do and after collecting all the paper work required , my doughter in Mexico will a temp to be interview by a consular official she prepared some paper work to present to the officials and this was supposedly the tool we will be using in order to succeed and finally get the visa," she says my case is doable and I went for that" believing on her , and what a surprise non of the paper work absolutely nothing was used and just a few question to my daughter was enough to denied the visa, the point here we know the visa is no guarantied to obtain , but when you do the imposible to obtain evidence to make sure is the staff you were asked for and none of that was use on my favor , is a tremendous waste of time and money, I came back to her and she alleges that still the case was doable , all we need to do is plan a different strategy and pay again the consulate for one more interview , which i was sceptic for what the results were , .but I believe on her again , we tray again , and this time for good they frankly told my daughter that she can no longer get visa not until she turns 18 years old , not to try again" the officials said, the point is that she does no have idea how the consulate works and frankly I lost so much time and money with her that I don't think I can recommend their services at all. read more
