Last week I had a very unpleasant experience at the DMV on Las Positas in Pleasanton. Not only was the greeter rude, but the man at the vehicle registration was obnoxious, did not give any explanations of fees or the processes. It is worth the drive to San Andreas to get premium service! Thank you San Andreas DMV for restoring my faith in public servants.

Took maybe 20 min wait with no appointment and was done. The lady who helped me was also super nice. People in these rural areas are just nicer.

I will say this location is on the cleaner side for a DMV. But here is the BIG issue I had on my last visit. Security doesn't allow standing while waiting!? Excuse me? I went on a cold winter day that was about 45 degrees outside. I didn't want to stand outside in the cold, but also didn't want to sit in a crowded seating area where there was clearly sick people who were coughing, sneezing, and sniffling everywhere. Hey Security, this isn't the hottest local nightclub on a Friday night. This is a local DMV. People don't want to be there. They probably HAVE TO BE THERE. And like me, I literally wasn't allowed to do what I needed to do online. So you are forcing people into long wait times and now telling them HOW they must wait? That is crazy work!
