Even if they weren't a government office, I'd be impressed (compare this to the post office or even worse- the bank!!) Past review- In general the people here are pleasant and helpful. In. General. The lines vary- today there were 2 people at the windows when I got to the line, and no one in line. And it goes like that occasionally. But there are other times that the lines are horrible and I've been stuck for an hour+. They don't tend to open more than 2-3 windows regardless of how bad the lines are. Try to go in a month when the taxes are NOT due and the lines tend to be a lot better. Or you can use the phone system, but there are fees attached to paying that way (just depends on if you have the time/inclination to wait in line).

For the sake of time (due date), I decided to walk in just in case there was anything extra. The office was open later in the afternoon and I got there about 4pm. Lots of parking available and I was able to get a nice wide spot, closer to the Bonneville entrance/exit. Business licensing is on the 3rd floor and there are several elevators, so it's a quick trip up. Inside, we check-in with a nice woman at a kiosk who reviewed my paperwork and entered me into the system. Then I sat down and got a text immediately that my wait would be about 10 minutes. Time moved fast, and I went to window 8, had my information verified and needed to complete a few more things on the form. Then I was sent to the cashier, paid my $25 address change fee with a check; looks like they had a credit card machine available as well (for a transaction fee, I believe). It was fast and easy! Everyone was so nice and helpful!! I'm glad I emailed and called prior to verify what I needed, plus they sent me the change form, so I could print it ahead of time and enter info. In total, I was there about 30 minutes.

I don't think they ever gave my driver's license back when they were looking up my information. I had ti call the phone number that is on a card they give u and fix everything straight.

6/29/23 730 am…read morePassport renewal With my son turning 18 it was time to renew his passport. Very easy process as they accept walk ins starting at 730am. There was a small line when I arrived but the entire process only took 2 hours. The receptionists were nice and I believe the passport specialist was Angie, she was even nicer. So glad we went here instead of making an appointment at a post office. The facility is well kept, plenty of parking and easy to access.

Called Customer service at 4:40 pm today, they close at 5:30, 5 minutes of listening to where to go…read moreand what numbers to press...was told I was first in the queue and my estimated wait time was 1 minute, after holding 5-10 minutes I thought they're going to have me on hold until 5:30 and disconnect me, but thought again....NO they wouldn't. Guess what?!?! 5:35 pm received a recording "we are having system problems, please call back later"!!!!!! . No customer service anymore with anyone!!!!!!

Well, I'm going to do it anyways!…read moreA little over a month ago I got stopped because my registration tags were not updated (it was five days past the date on my registration). I had paid for the renewal, just hadn't received the stickers yet in the mail. I received the stickers before my court date and went to court this morning. Although there is a parking structure, I was able to find parking on the street. I went into the court and asked which room I was to go to. The officer that directed me was nice & helpful. Once I got to the correct court room the lady that was checking us in (not sure if she was a bailiff or deputy?) gave me all the info I needed. She asked if I had proof of my registration with no lapse. I did. She said the judge will dismiss my ticket. When the judge entered, he went through everyone pretty quickly. Since my last name begins with "S" I was towards the end of the roster. It didn't take long though, it was all of about 20 minutes before they got to me. He called me up and was really friendly and he asked about my registration and I told him, actually that lady that had checked us all in told him my situation and he looked at me and smiled and said, "Great, you are dismissed. Good day, Miss." And that was it. While I can't say I want to return, I'll say that the employees here all were very friendly and professional and made this experience quick and painless!
