He made the material interesting by sharing real-life experiences from both his students and his own life. He also has a great sense of humor, which made the long weekend enjoyable. He did an excellent job getting us ready for the shooting qualification, including proper holster draws and safe firearm handling. I hadn't shot a firearm in years, and my wife had never shot one before -- yet we both passed.
