I recommend this occupational center to everyone who is thinking of a career change - they have so many interesting courses, if I lived closer, I would take all of them,- their classes are very affordable and designed to take you as a complete beginner and help you get knowledge and hands on experience, so after graduating you will quickly find a job. Wishing prosperity to this place!

After you finish your tests, for certain programs you are put onto a waitlist and they tell you they will call or email you if there are spots open. I took a test back in September and was waiting for the November waitlist. I eventually did get a call/email that were was spots open and you must register at 8am on a specific day. I didn't follow through as I decided on another school but now I constantly get spam calls from this school. Even when blocked, I get calls from different numbers from this school.

Dave, Elliott and Bob were great teachers and each had a unique perspective on how to get the skill to stick. I would highly recommend taking this course if you're a beginner or coming back after a long time off of a motorcycle.

Whether you've…read morenever touched a motorcycle or have been around them your entire life, everyone is welcome, and you'll leave the weekend feeling more confident in your riding skills. I've been around bikes or riding dirt bikes and motorcycles for most of my life (about 30 years, from age 3 to 33), but I never truly felt confident in my riding until I took this course. Even if you've been riding for a long time, you can still learn a lot about the fundamentals and the physics behind motorcycle riding. One of the instructors, Rick, was very efficient and clearly explained how the course would work and what to expect during the in-person riding days. The presentations, demonstrations, structure, and overall instruction exceeded my expectations. The instructors have a great way of breaking things down so they're easy to understand and apply in real time. At times, it can feel a bit stressful trying to understand everything in such a short time, but if you take notes and pay attention you'll be fine. Plus, it's more of an excited, motivated kind of stress, you want to succeed. They provide all the tools you need to pass both the written and practical exams and do a great job preparing you for the DMV written test as well. One major benefit is that if you pass this course, you won't need to take the DMV riding test, which relieves a lot of additional stress. Big thanks to Rick, Bob, and Elliot for taking the time to teach us the fundamentals and help us feel safe and confident on a motorcycle.

The instructor, Ms. Marla, is a wonderful teacher; she was actively engaged throughout every session. It is evident Ms. Marla is truly passionate about the arts and engaging with the youth. Our mini maestros were introduced to music fundamentals with instruments and singing. The courses ran every Saturday morning and parents were welcome to attend and engage in class. Our twins looked forward to Saturday morning singing. The classes are affordable. Over a period of about 3 months, we saw notable confidence and self-expression development in our children. They actively sing songs we learned in class throughout the day. At the end of the season, our twins along with others, hosted a recital. It was a true joy hearing them sing in front of a huge crowd. I highly recommend SFVYC; they are led by a very community active and engaged music director, Kyla Williams.
