I never had the opportunity to meet the DJ ahead of time---which I found very strange sinmce all other events I have had DJs for previously, I was able to sit down with the DJ ahead of time and discuss details for the party. I was told the DJ would contact me ahead of time---he finally called two days before the party and left a message---I called back that same day, as well as several times over the next two days and was never able to contact him---only a stupid message. Getting nervous, I called Primetime and was told not to worry he was one of their best DJs----While setting up the party, I received a call about an hour before the party was to start saying the original DJ could not come and they were sending a replacement. Guests started arriving at 6:30pm, the DJ showed up at close to 7pm and did not start playing until 7:15---and then the music he played was more appropriate for old people, not the roomful of teenagers present---"muzak" during dinner, and then he didn't have half the music the guests requested---he also brough his son who proceeded to run around the whole party barefoot. People left early, my daughter was in tears, and overall this was a miserable experience that ruined her HS graduation party---NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, everyone was extremely professional and on time. They took really short breaks and even played late because everyone was having so much fun. This band performed hits from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and now. If I was to summarize this type of playlist the band was performing, I would say "Hot Adult Contemporary". As soon as the attendees rolled into the event tent, the band started rocking away. They played a mixture of rock and pop hits throughout the entire event duration. That gave everyone the chance to view, listen, and even sing a long to their performances. What a way to bring great people together, Ed Z! The band was rocking so loud that we could even hear them outside when my friends and I went to the pumpkin patch and house to snap some photos. The original plan was for them to perform outside. But because of the rain, they had to perform inside. This weather-related change didn't hurt their spirit at all. In fact, they performed without even caring about the rain. This band no doubt has an edge over some of the other bands whom I encountered on my previous 25th cruise, which is based on their performance qualities and professionalism. Based on how they performed, it was quite easy for me to see and hear why they are always booked and only have a very limited amount of time for public events. For this case, the General Yelp Event was a private one. Overall, this is an excellent cover band, and probably the best one that I have ever heard. If you can catch them at a public event, then I recommend doing so. I also recommend booking them if you can.

Agree teachers are great but admin/owner is terrible…read more If you cancel a session the day of because your child is sick, you just lose that day/money and are not offered a make-up because it's a 'late cancel'. Apparently, they want you to upgrade the package in order to be able to cancel if your child is sick? A fair sick cancellation policy should NOT be dependent on a more expensive package. That's completely ridiculous. Meanwhile, if the instructor 'late cancels', we don't get a refund....instead, we are forced to do a make-up session even when the make-up times/days is not convenient for us. We don't get a refund....they make sure THEY don't lose money, but you are out of luck if your child wakes up sick.

First let me say, the instructors are great and my child's teacher is awesome!!!…read more School administration is poor, really rude , not flexible and only want to make money, they will use every trick in their pocket to charge you without actually giving your child a lesson, for example "you cancelled 23 hours and 59 minutes before the lesson, the policy is 24 hours so you don't get any credit " or "you have to cancel online and we can't do it over the phone so we are doing you a favour cancelling , oh and by the way since you cancelled over the phone you get no credit " or they can call you 30 minutes before the lesson to cancel, doesn't matter if you are already there, but you have to cancel 24 hrs ahead of time. The staff is rude and all they do is just read the policy to you. So if I could give a 0 for service I would. Facilities are poor as well, you walk in every time it smells disgusting and that is not just one time, it is every time. Beyond that, there is no sound proofing at all, you can hear what the student next to you are playing even if is a soft piano, they might as well be in the same room. The only saving grace are the excellence teachers they have.

My daughter has been a student at SOR for the past 2 years give or take. She has been able to try…read moreout different instruments, finally finding the keyboards. The instructors are so good with kids and can teach using their own interests. Once of the first things my daughter learned to play was the theme from the Super Mario Brothers game. She's now learning the Blues. Teddy is awesome - and patient; and my daughter is very comfortable with him. I recommend SOR to anyone who asks. On another note, the house band came to play at a fundraiser we are very involved in. The talent of these kids was a shock to so many who watched them walk in and didn't know what to expect. The band played for an hour and we must have had 15 people comment to us on how much they sounded like Jimmy Page, Nancy Wilson and so many of the others they covered. They were amazing. 2 of them are national SOR all stars too, so we actually had celebrities on stage! The drummer did a solo that was reminiscent of Mickey Hart or Bill Kreutzmann, only not 45 minutes long and the bass and electric guitars were just as amazing. These kids can rock.
