The first thing that impressed me is of course Dr. Tostado. I love his story of how he transitioned from traditional sick care to regenerative medicine. If you have the opportunity to stop by and just grab his book and nothing else; you're definitely getting an education of what transpires for many MD's in our sick care system. I mostly come here for BHRT. The procedure is painless and really has changed my life. Overall mental health, physical health, sleep, you name it, overall better. Fortunately I'm in pretty good health and I'm thankful for Dr. Tostado, his wife/NP Teresa, and Miranda for helping me with my health journey. This office is very welcoming and warm. They have a different way of treatment. They teach you to be well, starting from the inside out. If any supplements that are needed, they have many in house. Otherwise they use a compounding pharmacy in Huntington Beach. My husband and several friends of mine are also patients here and they all love the office as well. They have many services that they offer, I can only vouch for the several I have tried. BHRT, liver cleanse, weight loss program, I think that's it. They treat the whole person, labs are drawn in house or at satellite locations. They're not the normal labs that are always drawn. They're very comprehensive and Dr. Tostado goes over them with each patient very throughly. I look forward to being able to patient for many years to come.

Prior to getting my braces, in 2015 I needed some work done in order to put on my braces. Tzu chi was referred to me by a friend, and I just loved them since that day! They did all the prep my mouth, and the staff was just my absolute favorite. With my insurance, it was going to cost at least 800-1000 dollars, WITH insurance. I did everything with them, and it was literally a fraction of the cost. Fast forward to 2022, I randomly called and prayed they were still here- all new staff, but they're still here and going!!! I got my cleaning, and took a rapid Covid test all in 25 mins. The dr that cleaned my teeth was an older woman, who is just so nice!!! Not to mention- Wise, polite, and truly cares about your health. She left my teeth so clean and perfect! I cannot thank this place enough. I will be back in 6 months for my next cleaning, and I urge anyone who wants to save, because I know these things can really get up there in pricing (they also take insurance as well!) First, they have a Nurse practitioner and also Dr. Ho who my dad saw probably twice the ten times he went to visit this office. The first day we went to the office, we had brought all the medicine my dad was taking. But I told the NP that he still had enough medicine so they did not need to refill it right away and that if we needed a refill we could have the pharamacy contact the doctor's office and she said, okay sounds good. By the time my dad needed to get a refill. The pharmacy contacted me telling me that the Doctor's office would not respond to them. Okay no problem, I called the Doctor's Office. They told me that they would check for me and have the doctor send it in later. Except, by the next day there was no refill. The doctor's office never sent the prescription. Okay. Let me call again. Now they want my dad to go in. New Doctor's office, maybe they missed something. We brought all my dad's medicine again just in case. A couple weeks later. My dad needed a refill on a different medication. But the pharmacist said that the doctor's office denied the refill. I call the doctor's office again. Okay, they will refill it. Next day. No refill. Okay. Let me call again. At this point, they always say that they will see what's going on and call me back. But they NEVER do. I have to call back the next day. I am patient with them because I know how hectic it can be at a doctor's office. But I always have to re-explain that my dad needs refills. That I called the day before and that they are rejecting the requests to refill, there is absolutely no communication here. This happens almost every two months since we started going in the beginning of the year! The last couple of visits was what got me so upset. They once again denied a refill. So I called the office to ask them if he could get a refill. They said sure. Benefit of the doubt. Next day? No refill. Surprise? My dad at this point was feeling dizzy and his blood pressure was unsteady. At this point my dad was running low on three medications. I brought him to the office where they rudely asked us why we were there. I told her that he needs a refill for a medication. She told us that we needed to make an appointment for that because they don't do walk ins for that. So I asked her then what is my dad suppose to do? He doesn't have any more medicine. So finally she tells me she will look into it for me. She asks me for the medications name but abruptly cuts me off. She tells me "it says you still have refills for this medication" Me - "okay but the pharmacist is telling me that there is no refill. I wouldn't be doing here if he had his medicine and if you guys aren't communicating with them" Nurse - "Okay, let me print it for you" She hands me the prescription.. for the wrong medicine.. Me - "This isn't the right medication. Can I show you on the app where it also tells you that you guys denied the request for refill?" So when she prints out the prescription and she comes around to me and puts the paper to my face aggressively pointing. Nurse - "See you still have more refills until - oh it says you have no more refills.. That's weird let me find out what happened for you." As if that wasn't what I was trying to have them figure out this whole time.. So she flags the NP and they talk for a couple minutes and then she comes up to me and she says "Okay we'll send it to the pharmacist for you" But I asked her what about the two other medications? She tells me, "We didn't prescribe those to you. We don't have it on file" What the h*ll is going on in this office. We literally came in here at least twice to have them document our medication. So whatever I make an appointment to get a refill for his other meds. Everything should be good now right? WRONG. Not even a month later, they deny a refill for the same prescription. Why?!??! I call them again and they tell me that we have to go in again but it hasn't even been a month since his last appointment? They said the doctor wants to see him to talk about this xray and blood work that he did a a couple months ago. When we went to the appointment three weeks ago. We already got the results for the blood work. The xray was talked about MONTHS ago. What is the need for us to come in again?! So they told us they would handle it. But NOPE. We had to go AGAIN. When we finally saw the NP for our appointment she told us "you know you can just call for a refill right?" I. WISH. WE. COULD. I didn't say anything to her because I had already decided to find another office but due to insurance since he already visited the doctor that month I couldn't immediately change. Seriously. She was nice to help me to find the answers from her supervisor about the questions in my insurances - I got the membership card from Central Health Plan 2024, and Ms. Chan told me that your medical offices would accept my membership card when I went to see your medical doctors, but I couldn't make it for your dentists, because your dental offices wouldn't accept my HMO plan in Delta Dental, and I didn't have a Medi-Cal (White Card). I feel so sorry that I have no choice, and give up my decisions to support your doctors and dentists - Herald Christian Health Center in this way, It may have a lot of people they have the same situations like me. His diagnosis is always on point!! The herbal medicine really does wonders. He usually checks your pulse, asks questions about your condition for more details, and checks the tongue. So being prepared with accurate information of the sickness or pain is essential to get the proper diagnosis and medicine. The diagnosis and medicine is catered to the body at that point in time. He usually gives you a list of things that I should not eat. Also, asking what I can and cannot eat is also really helpful. Sometimes, I get surprised and that's probably the reason why I don't feel well. After the body gets better, I find it good to go back to get a checkup again and get new medicine based on the updated symptoms. He will also follow up on the whether I did my homework (not eating cold stuff, for example). This ensures that the body continues to improve and strengthen itself. From my experience, the medicine treats the exact symptoms you have, and no other side effects unlike Western medicine. I haven't taken over-the-counter cold medicine in the longest time. The herbal medicine is not like the traditional medicine where you have to boil and drink really bitter tea. The herbal medicine is a powder form inside capsules that can be swallowed. The capsules are vegetarian and do not contain gelatin. The capsule can also be easily pulled apart into 2 pieces, so that I can pour and dissolve the powder into a cup of water before taking it. Perfect for someone who can't swallow pills like me!! It is also nice that they are FSA/HSA eligible. Just need to request an invoice. For the times I've gone, I barely have to wait for my visit. I usually book my appointment for the weekdays. After the seeing Dr. Hsi, the receptionist will prepare the medicine, and you will pick up the medicine and pay right then and there. Depending on how much medicine you're given like a week for flu/cold/COVID, it is a short wait about several minutes to pick up the medicine. So it is also nice and convenient that I don't need to go to a separate pharmacy to get medicine.
