Use DND for your garage service wherever possible. Excellent service, you will not be disappointed. Courteous, efficient, tidy, and customer service oriented. What more could you ask for!? -Their work is SOLID. Efficient work AND attention to detail--they checked my garage floor for nails or other possible trash they could have left behind. They even offered to re-punch down the power cord I RAN because a staple had fallen from the ceiling during installation causing the cord to sag. They could have easily said "Not responsible" because they certainly were not, but they didn't say that. They offered to correct the problem anyway. -I have pictures of the install here, go view them. For it to be done so fast, the work was neat, all the wires run nicely and the new opener installed good and flush. Everything worked perfectly. -I arrived home a little late for our appointment, had a neighbor let them into the garage. I was only 20 minutes behind, but when I got home half the work was already done. The installers were timely and courteous. -They respond quickly and professionally to inquiries--I called them on a whim after finding them on Yelp after I had trouble scheduling with other companies who seemed like they were too busy. It was late in the day, but they answered, listened to what my problems were and got my scheduled up in the same call. I should note they offered to come out the next day, but we had to wait a couple days for the opener to come in. I gave the dimensions for my door and what I needed done (spring replacement and a Liftmaster 8500 install) and they were prompt in generating a rough quote and getting scheduling in place. read more

Imagine waking up on a national holiday to find that a cable on your garage door has snapped and for all intents and purposes your car is in prison because you can't open the door electronically OR manually, rendering you immobile. That was the scenario that led me to call DND this past Labor Day. I should note that my husband and I called a few larger companies first, all of whom said that because of the holiday no techs were available. Just as well.... Seeing all the excellent reviews DND had here on Yelp made me feel that we'd be in good hands with Alex So I took a leap of faith and called. So glad I did! My "seventy-something" parents needed a garage door *opener*. I live in another state and did research on Yelp to find a good company. Alex responded very quickly to my online request for info, included a quote, and was able to fit my parents in the next day (less than 48-hour turn around). He arrived earlier than expected and treated my mother with respect. He clearly explained how everything works (garage door remotes and key pad). His prices were very reasonable. He also noticed a loose rail of some kind and fixed it for her at a small additional charge. My mother is *very* hard to please, but she raved about Alex. She's going to recommend him to a friend. My garage door spring broke and I called DND on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. They said the morning was full but they could be at my home by 3 p.m. that day. They called at 2:30 p.m. and said they were on their way. The technician arrived slightly before 3:00 p.m., looked at my door, quoted a reasonable price, and fixed the door within 45 minutes. The service was excellent, and the technician was polite, efficient, and cleaned up before he left. This is a great privately owned company with working owners who care about customer service, technical excellence, and providing a service at a fair and reasonable price. We called Alex regarding our very old garage door. He got back in touch very quickly, even though he was on vacation! We were able to schedule the tune up for the following week. He arrived on time, was able to offer advice on what needed fixing and when, an estimate on replacing the motor (down the road, not right now), and got the door tuned up in under half an hour!
