I did a little investigating and this company was recently sold to a DE company that has a mailing address on 450 Park Ave 15th Floor NY, NY. The bottom line, I couldn't get the same model that they installed two years ago, the new model will only work with their own garage door key pad that costs over $100, they swear universal key pad remotes can't be paired with it as they are operating omn their own unique frequency... The new machine is about $400 more than the one from two years ago... I swear it looks the exact same... If you have deep pockets, give them a call...

The woman I spoke to gave me the name of the person to contact, so I called him directly. I left him a message and also emailed him photos as the woman had asked. They didn't really show anything but I sent them anyway. I mentioned that on my phone message. Two days go by and no response, so I called again, left him another message. So here we are a week and a half later and I've heard nothing from anyone, so I called another company (Overhead Door) and they are sending someone out early this afternoon. I've notified all of our PMs and superintendents and let them know that when they need any future work on commercial garage doors that they should contact the other company if they want a response. 0/10 Would not recommend Gaithersburg Garage Door.
