We stopped in for a late lunch, so it was nice and quiet. Since it was our first time there, our waiter took the time to explain the menu and everything was very easy to understand. He was also extremely friendly and attentive. We each ordered different items so we could try a variety of dishes, and every single thing we ordered was excellent. The flavors were outstanding, and we kept talking about how excited we are to come back and try more items on the menu. The restrooms were also very clean, which we appreciated. Second time trying this restaurant. Was really impressed the first time. Meal and service at the Bar was great, but they didn't have many customers at the time. Ordered off the ala-cart menus for chicken curry. Went home with leftovers. Told friend how good it was. This time I had the curry again but added crab rangoons. Almost no crab in the Rangoon, all I could taste was the cream cheese. The red curry was fine but the portion was small. Half the size from my first visit and I had to search for the chicken, it was almost nonexistent. service was good but the try and push the all you can eat menu. No lunch pricing on the weekends. Cost for my simple ala- cart was basically the same as the all you can eat. Looked to me like they served me the smaller all you can eat instead of the bigger single meal. The people next to me had much bigger plates and took home leftovers. The devote is a bit confused, feels like a western themed restaurant with Asian decoration. I placed an order through DoorDash for pick up as I always do, and ordered the same thing i usually order. When i picked up the order, I showed the lady at the counter the details of my order including the name and she handed me the bag with my full name. i admittedly did not check the bag or really read the receipt other than the name because i trust they always do a good job. Well... that was a sore mistake. Because I did not get what i ordered and by the time i made it home and opened the bag, i was disappointed to see not only something i didn't order, but something I could not even find the appetite to eat after opening.. the store had also just closed so I couldn't even go back to get what I actually ordered. While I do understand mistakes happen, I must admit this was quite the upsetting ending to a long day. :( The receipt had the correct name and everything so I assumed the order was correct as it has always been in the past. Not sure how my name managed to end up on somebody else's order.. especially considering I ordered through doordash...Extremely unfortunate way to end the week with a "treat" because I was really looking forward to that pineapple fried rice and 2 california rolls I ordered and prepaid for. The service was okay, very attentive wait staff once you're seated. I do recommend ordering your entrees/rolls when you place your appetizer order and each of your following orders when you receive the entrees/rolls as it takes some time to get all the different rolls made. The atmosphere is fun but still mature or classy. The main style of dining is all you can eat. You can pick anything from the appetizer menu and anything from the list of sushi and sashimi and hand rolls and even a selection of fried rices and noodle dishes. Came here on the second day of their opening since I was shopping at the mall and stopped by in! I checked in and waited a few to be seated and then I ordered some California rolls and shrimp tempura roll and they were so tasty! I usually eat my rolls with yum yum sauce or spicy mayo so I had asked some and they had it. Server was so nice and I know it can be hectic since everyone wants to try this place out! I read about Do Eat somewhere and saw that they had all you can eat items. So I thought we would try it. Honestly, I was very surprised. They have two menus, one is Al a Carte menu where you can order quite a few items from their kitchen. The other menu is their 'All you can eat' Menu. They had so many items to choose from. Their service is wonderful. They attentive and check on you often. They take your order and within a few minutes bring your food out. I thought the food was amazing and I was actually impressed over several items I tried. Their fried rice dishes were probably the best fried rice I've ever had. I went to do eat at 1pm on a Friday with my spouse for lunch. I tried almost every type of sushi they had, each type was without a doubt the best sushi I have had. The service was excellent with our server being extremely attentive to our every need, when we were almost out of food she would ask us if we wanted more and she let us know what is the best dishes to try and how long they might take. More like "Do Wait". At a normal restaurant, you order, you wait, you eat. Now imagine doing this about 5 times, and you have Do Eat. You order, you wait, you eat your teeny tiny portion, you wait for the server; you order again, you wait again, you eat another tiny portion, you wait for the server; you order again... (repeat for the rest of your life, like Sisyphus trying to roll a boulder up a hill) It's like torture. You're motivated to continue by the tiny portion of food that you devour in 5 minutes, but then you wait and wait and wait... until you've been there all day and just can't do it anymore. And then you go home and have a snack. Summary of the process: The portions are really, really small. The wait between portions is really long. I spent 4 hours and $40 there and left hungry. I don't think I've ever spent $40 on a single meal before. The food ranged from okay to good. (Curry was really good, sushi was fine, fried rice greasy, drunken noodles... not so good.) They're really unclear about how the restaurant even works until you're already seated. It felt like a bait and switch. Have fun reading through a whole page of confusingly-worded rules and stipulations, then realize that you're going to have to pay $40 ("$29.95"). I was going to get 3 types of sushi for $14.50. Except, you can't on a weekend. And even if I had, it would have been a tiny meal for $15, and I would have been sad. So I cried, blew my food budget for the month, and went for "all you can eat" for $30 (which, after tax and tip, is $40). And that's how the above resulted. Even if they improved things (but I don't see how; they'd somehow have to be able to get food out really, really fast), I'd never go back here again. It made me want to never eat anywhere again. I can't afford the massive time and financial expenditure. I'd rather eat my podunky food at home. What kind of baller spends $40 on one meal? I have zero complaints about my visit here. We were served by Nevae, and she was by far the best waitress I've ever had. Very attentive and fast, she was also extremely kind and fun to talk to. The food was amazing, it's unlimited, but in small portions (arguably the best part).I personally love the small amount portions because it helps from over eating yourself and also allows to try multiple things before getting full. I tried multiple rolls, my favorite was the Olympic Roll and King Crunch Roll. Their shrimp dumplings (shrimp shumai) was my favorite appetizer. Over all, probably my favorite restaurant in Minot right now. The store itself is very clean and has a kind of space vibe going on. I would definitely recommend trying it out here!! read more

This is a new type of dining experience. there are 2 ways to eat here. 1. it can be like a normal restaurant. they have standard Asian cuisine that is normal portions , dinner plate size. 2. Tapas style small plates that you can order all the different dishes they offer for $29.95. if you get this option get 2 or 3 appetizers first to try along with what you want to try for dinner tapas style smaller dish, when you are done you tell them the other 2,3 or 4 dishes you want to try. our friends joined us for dinner and I had the pad thai which was delicious, my husband tried the Hawaiian chicken and rice, that came with Yum Yum sauce. my friend had the chicken katsu and rice. these are dinner size portions that we all took home. our 1 friend ordered the $29.95 dinner and was able to eat all sorts of different dishes instead of just 1 dinner. he had sushi, appetizers and tried drunken noodles and ordered sirloin beef noodles. if you want to be adventurous and eat different dishes or try new things that's the best deal but order 2-3 at a time. We had dinner the night before New Year's Eve. Issues with the soda machine were resolved immediately. The quality of the Sushi Rolls was fantastic. Many options for your small tastey buds for the all You can eat Buffet. Staff were quick, responsive, and the waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. The first wings were rubbery and overcooked. They are small. The wings issue was immediately corrected. If you don't want all you can eat, there is a second menu. The second menu offers Sushi, full Hibachi Meals, and other options to satisfy your pallet. The restaurant is beautiful and the fireplace is gorgeous as you wait.
