OP-- We hired Blue Touch Wash on 7/23/25 to power wash our home. Before the job, we made it clear our vegetable garden and koi pond needed to be protected from chemical contamination. They assured us in writing these areas would be covered. On the day of service, we pointed the pond out again and were told to go inside while they worked. When the crew left, every Japanese koi in our pond was dead within the hour. The entire yard smelled like a swimming pool. Security footage confirmed they never covered the pond at all. Their negligence destroyed a mature pond ecosystem that took years to establish and left our children devastated. When we complained, they first denied using chemicals, then offered a $150 refund on a $525 job. After we provided professional estimates of $839 to decontaminate the pond and replace the fish, they dismissed the damage as our "dirty pond" and claimed their final $550 offer was "more than generous." They also tried to pressure us into staying silent by demanding no negative reviews or complaints to the BBB in exchange for compensation. This experience was not just about money, it was about accountability, respect for property, and honesty. Blue Touch Wash failed on every level. In addition, I found a loose nut on the driveway, which makes me wonder whether there was an equipment malfunction or leak during the service. It would have taken the crew a few minutes to rinse off the driveway. The cleaning chemicals also left a noticeable residue on all of my windows, creating another expense and additional work for me to correct. To make matters worse, the crew did not return my outdoor furniture or garden hose to their original locations after finishing the job. It was a very lazy and poor-quality job all around. I called earlier and scheduled an appointment and they provided a window of when they would come. They arrived and quickly got to work. The process was quick and the cost was about the same as it was 5 years back! Glad it wasn't too expensive otherwise I would've had to call someone else.
