We used Precision Drain & Plumbing for a couple of projects recently and service was great. We've…read moreowned our house for almost 2 years and have been slowly getting projects done. With a baby on the way, we decided we wanted to update our bathroom and install a water softener considering our water was extremely hard. The water softener installation required quite a bit of plumbing since we didn't have the extra piping in place to add a water softener easily. Ivan recommended a Falkner Water Softener to be installed outside the house (non enough space inside). Although not the cheapest option, we already know it was worth the investments. They added the additional piping, electric, and installed the water softener quickly and we had little inconvenience during the process. The water softener uses potassium so we can use it safely on the yard. The unit is built to last. The bathroom update took about a couple weeks and went very smooth. Precision uses quality materials and our bathroom looks amazing. Israel was the on site contractor and had help from one other person. They pay attention to details. They raised the shower head, installed a low water toilet, updated the electric, installed a recessed shampoo/soap cubby in the shower, and redid the plumbing for the two sinks and toilet. The plumbing work was great because we now have more room underneath our newly installed vanity for storage, a great asset with a baby on the way. They can do it all and worked with us to make sure we got the design we wanted. We wanted additional upgrades to the vanity so we were able to choose the quartz we wanted and they had the cabinets made to make the bathroom perfect. I'll add some pictures soon of the bathroom work. On the final day of the bathroom project, we ran into a plumbing problem with our sewer pipe. It was clogged and backing up back into the house. It was a tree root issue we knew about since before we bought the house. The timing wasn't great, but luckily we had plumbing experts on-site. Israel recommended a snaking and then within a few minutes, he saw how much roots were in the pipe. He recommended we get a camera in there asap as he expected the pipe was cracked. Since before we bought the house we tried twice to get a camera in the pipe, but with no luck. The other plumbers said you don't have a clean out and we can't go through the roof or toilet so I wasn't sure Precision could do it either. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they got the camera in the pipe. Unlike the other plumbers, there were no excused. Precision just got the job done. Not only that, but they got the camera in asap. They came the same day in the evening so we knew what we were dealing with. Israel and Ivan showed us the video and the pipe was filled with roots and cracked because of the roots. The worst case scenario really. When we bought the house, our inspector mentioned that this could be an issue with the large tree in the front yard and 50+ year old pipes. With our baby due so soon, we worried about how quickly and how much it would cost. Ivan recommended a new pipe for the yard then a liner from the yard to the city sewer. It took two days and we didn't have any inconvenience. The project was success, they added the clean out for the future and we're very happy. It wasn't a cheap solution, but it had to be done and after speaking to my boss who had the same issue, Precision was $1500 cheaper. Whether you need plumbing or a house project done, my wife and I highly recommend Ivan and his team at Precision. Once we're done paying these expenses off, we'll be coming back to Ivan to install new windows and update our 2nd bathroom.
