Nearly one out of three graduates continue to seminary or mission work. Concordia is proud of its numerous music ensembles and its athletic programs. There was a little row some years ago about a team captain being disqualified because not a Christian. The people who said it was unfair were the same ones who charged Lutherans higher tuition when attending the non-Christian campus. Oh what webs we weave and all that. Concordia has a good success rate in the natural sciences. I attended several music performances, wandered through a museum, and generally enjoyed myself on their campus. Pretty spectacular and gargantuan University that anybody born in any part of Nebraska will probably end up going to. There's so much energy and life in this University and it's hard not to love how electric it is when kids are in town, when school is in session, or even better when there is a college football game going on. Absolutely spectacular. There's some good food in town and I had one of my best shows in the whole country in the whole history of my music right here in Lincoln - all because of this massive school. And the school gives Lincoln a youth, an energy, an amazing flavour and spirit and liberal atmosphere in a very Republican state and it makes me love Lincoln even more than I already do. Great support from the people in the career center helping me not freak out so much about being ready for after college jobs! The cafeteria can be hit and miss but there's usually a good selection for everyone to find something they like. If there's something you want to see on campus, you can start something yourself because most activities and groups are student led and staff are always ready to help you get things going. I really enjoyed being a part of the music programs. Dr. Kurt and Dr. Little are passionate about encouraging students to develop their talents.

It was really cool walking around Nebraska University campus today! Classes are out of session so…read morehardly anyone was walking around! It was a nice, a bit cooler today with some cloud cover. Enjoyed taking approximately 30 photos or so of many different artistic sculptures throughout the grounds here. I have made it almost a regular routine walking through here and was glad my brother showed me these items to appreciate the artistic abilities of people on campus through the years! If you are ever in town, it's a must to at least walk here at least once!!! As they say... "Go Big Red!"

The University of Nebraska is enormous (like me) and encompasses all the college kids (like me) in Nebraska it seems, and plenty from outside as well. It's a very very big college football town and that pretty much defines the scene here - but it's also a very cool town and a healthy town and a friendly town to live in. It has a good night life as most intense college towns do and I like hanging out here. I've played a concert here, and seen sports games here, and one of my good friends lives here.

I love the business administration building ( Mike & Josie Harper Center ) with many new features and designs . I also love the V.J. & Angela Skutt student center . The interior architecture is beautiful. Many corners to study or have a meeting . One level is the hot food restaurants ( Asian and Mexican) and Starbucks . People are very friendly , good manner and respectful. The students have room for self discovery and growth.
