The wait staff was great, our waitress Carrie worked her butt off and was very attentive, my family had 4 different meals, Pork chops were grilled fantastic, my son and daughter didn't say a word while they ate so must have been good, my fried fish was good and the baked beans are delicious, coleslaw was acceptable nothing fantastic, the starter was Fried cheese curd and fried mushrooms both were plentiful and very good. Big place with lots of seating and it seems to be a popular place. Near the lake, but unfortunately no view as the place doesn't have any windows. It specializes in meats, like burgers and steaks. So I'll admit I probably ordered badly when I decided to have a salad topped with grilled chicken. Nevertheless, this could have been way better. I could have made this salad myself, probably better. It looked nothing like the picture here. It was just pale lettuce thrown on a plate with barely there shredded cheese, with a pile of croutons and four deflated and seriously overripe grape tomatoes. A hard boiled egg and a couple of red onion rings were there as well. The chicken on top was grilled and flavored well, but it looked like it had been shredded apart by some animal's claws. It was a bit unevenly cooked and was mostly on the dry side. The lime vinaigrette slid off of everything on the plate and disappeared to the bottom, and was actually not very flavorful. The service was adequate, got the job done (though we never received any bread) despite the numerous people there. All in all, pretty disappointing, won't have any reason to go back. read more

We came in town for the weekend and needed a restaurant that was open after 8. We found Dobber's on Yelp. We ordered fried mushrooms, chicken fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and okra and my husband had the ribeye. It was all delicious! The servers were very friendly and did a great job refilling low drinks. We finished our dinner with a slice of peanut butter pie. It was a huge slice and the perfect end to our meal. Wife and child and I stopped to have lunch at this new place in Longtown. They already have most of the bugs worked out. The waitress was prompt with the refills and knowledgeable about the food. Great restaurant and lucky for me, this is really close to our lake house. It's hard to find a good restaurant in Eufaula with great service. Their American food is delicious -- kid approved! We love their blackberry cobbler a la mode and the cast iron cookie fresh out of the oven! This place is almost always busy so plan ahead to get in line! This place was awesome! We ate there after seeing it on Discover Oklahoma. We arrived to a packed parking lot but had a very short wait. Only about 10 minutes. We ordered the fried pickles and fried mushrooms. They were amazing. The ranch was so good! For our entrees I had the hamburger steak. It covered with mushrooms and onions and brown gravy. It was so good. The best part of my meal however was the green beans. They are a must try! They are good in a flat top grill and you can tell. My husband had the fish. It was so light and flaky. Great food! The cook makes steaks one grade over. Learned the hard way on both types of steaks they serve, so if you want A true medium cook order it medium rare. Tasty food. Good home cooking. Just ate at Dobber's and it was great! Food is really good, service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. My wife ordered the pork chop meal and it had two big pork chops on it, plus 2 sides and a hot roll. I had the fried fish meal, and brought some of it home. Went to this place because of the good reviews. Ordered the chicken fried chicken with green beans and loaded potatoes. My chicken was average compared to what I have eaten elsewhere. The potatoes were not as good as I had hoped and green beans were the long cut and a little tasteless. I would have rated this place a 3 but things got worse. My youngest daughter ordered the Mac and cheese and fries. The Mac and cheese was obviously Kraft in a box. First bite my daughter said she didn't like Mac and cheese. We added salt and pepper and still no good. Looked it over and it was dry and stuck together. Our mistake was we didn't immediately let waitress know about this. We debated for awhile as we gave our daughter some of our food. Finally I told waitress the Mac and cheese was not good and all stuck together. She didn't apologize or anything and took the bow back to kitchen. About 10 minutes later she came back with ticket and Mac and cheese still on bill. I asked about it and she said they took $2 off since she ate the fries and had kid drink. I would have expected the kids entire meal to be taken off. Shouldn't have to feed our kid our food because your food is not adequate. One more thing. The salsa said "house made" salsa. Was about to order it but first verified it was fresh and our waitress said, she couldn't lie and it wasn't House made. What? What more can be said? Will not be coming back. read more

The owners are very friendly and ready to please ,excellent service and our food arrived shortly after ordering.I recommend the chicken fried steak , chicken tenders are quite large and the meat loaf is outstanding.
