Doesn't look like much but was the perfect spot if you want great comfort food. Burger was Don perfectly and the BLT was delicious., not the mention the friendly quick service. Very happy with this roadside stop!

A great place to go try if you want fresh food! The fried pickles and green beans were not overly coated in batter and were fried to perfection! The catfish also had a good amount of breading which did not overpower the fish. The coleslaw was made fresh at the restaurant and was a perfect side! We came for the 'Fish Friday' but we will come back to try more! The overall appearance of the restaurant itself is very clean and well kept by the staff. All of the staff were very nice and attentive to our order. Our waitress, Hunter M., provided excellent service throughout the duration of our dinner!

The parking lot was packed with cars. A long line of customers were outside, waiting for their turn at the trough. Plan "B." On south to LAKe Country Diner. Turn left on Highway 9 when the traffic clears. Traffic? on Highway 9? Yes, this is Saturday morning. Highway 9 is lined with miles and miles of road side flea markets, junk sales, garage sales, yard sales, and there is always a stationary exercise bike to be found. Some folks just pull off the side of the road and try to sell whatever the hell is in the back of their truck; like pit bull mix puppies, kittens and suspicious looking power tools of untraceable origin (if you know what I mean). Customers were swarming. Parked bumper to bumper in the ditches and shoulder of the road. Pulling out, pulling in. In every direction..... The parking lot at LAKe Country diner was also crowded with cars. Park on the grass. Surprised; the inside of the diner is roomy. Even with the crowd there were plenty of tables and booths available. Seat yourself. The waitresses were having to hustle. Eventually we had coffee and menus. They have an excellent breakfast buffet. Me, sticking with the usual cooked to order. (Check the pictures and video.) I expected a long wait. The meal was on the table in minutes. Prepared exactly as ordered. Good food, good service and they can handle a large volume of customers. Tip: Don't go looking for breakfast on Saturday mornings during flea market season! Oh, and finally the winner of today's best diner table top advertising "Milty the Septic Guy." Milty, for some reason seems like an appropriate nickname for a person in this business. Here is the important part, take note of the PD after his name. That really means something. It means he is licensed to handle crap under pressure! Don't believe that...Google it.

It was $12/person and was so good! I'll be back!

We were driving through and placed a to go order and talked with the nicest, most helpful young lady that Ive encountered in quite some time. She led us through the menu and talked us into a few fried pies as well. I settled on the Bubba Burger basket with fries which was a huge double hand made burger with lettuce tomatoes onion and mustard. My wife got the Fmous burger basket with onion rings. We found our way to the restaurant, that is a bit off the interstate but easy enough to find. We each got a fried pie and our total was around $35 including the tip. Not bad at all in this day and age, especially for really good food, which is what we got. My burger was one of the best I've had in years and will replace one of my top 10 on my burger list. It was frankly near perfect. My wife said hers was equally good and we loved the fries and onion rings. The fried pies were good as well. I've had better pies but they were damn good. I will make sure this is my stop every time I'm in Henryetta. I'm just thankful I don't live there because I'd be tempted daily by these delicious burgers.
