I just wanted to clarify my experience -- short and simple- you confirmed an appt you didn't keep and then decided not to accept a project/work further because my tone of frustration (of which your lack of communications was the root cause ) was not acceptable. You say you "value mutual respect and clear communication in every client relationship. " Unfortunately, you didn't even communicate until I contacted you to ask if you were still coming. You left me waiting without notification so that's already contradictory to what you value. Management then chose not to continue to work with me because they felt the tone and nature of response was not acceptable after an apology The truth is...No one called to apologize or acknowledge the no show until after I called. You can't expect to gain respect if you don't give it. Although you had an emergency at 7am (our scheduled appt was 10am), it doesn't take more than 5 sec to send a quick message to cancel. You had 3 hours to cancel an appt you couldn't make. So it is for the same reason that I prefer not to work with your company. I also value respect and clear communication which did not occur with your tone and lack of accountability in how you handled the matter. Hopefully this feedback will help future prospective clients. Well, long story short it got paved the week befor Thanksgiving. Thats to late in the year. Half the driveway came out like crap. I called with my concerns and was polite and patient the whole time. He said it was the quality of the ashfalt and sometimes that happened. He offered to seal coat for no charge later the following year. I was satisfied with that. After a few months into summer I sent him a text asking if he was still going to do it . He said he had not forgot about me. Never showed. Be careful! He came to look at the sidewalk, gave me a reasonable quote, and the sidewalk job was completed a week later. Toby and his crew worked hard all day and did an excellent job, leaving us with a beautiful new sidewalk. We have hired him to come back in about a month to reseal our driveway, and I am sure Toby and his crew will do a great job with that also. These are good people who work hard and do excellent work!

He texted with some follow-up questions, but then said that he should be able to begin working in two to three days. I replied that two would be much better and asked if he could make it two, not three. He texted with some other questions, but didn't respond about starting. I asked again. No answer. I asked again. No answer. Nor did I get the quote. I called the next day, left a VM, and never heard back. Very, very dissatisfied. Some reply, even to say he couldn't take the job, would have been preferable to complete radio silence. Not to mention just plain polite. He lost a repeat customer.
