I designed and ordered components for living room built-ins online, but once they arrived, my usual contractor said he wouldn't be able to support the job anymore. I'm so thankful I found Roberto to support the project instead. He was incredibly responsive, quick to start and finish, and checked in extensively along the way to ensure my vision and preferences were taken into account. This was not an easy project, but he and his team made the best of all the challenges we met. At one point we realized the wrong replacement cabinet had been shipped to me. A new one was going to take 2-3 weeks!! Instead of pushing off the job to a later date he suggested solutions and retrofitted the replacement cabinet flawlessly to ensure we could finish the job the same week he started. He started Monday and finished Wednesday ahead of his original projection of Friday!! He arrived on time every morning and was very thoughtful about preparing for the next day ahead of time so that he could optimize his time onsite. Contacted with this company for restaurant flooring (ie health department). SLOW scheduling,…read morenon-transparent, and after 6 months, the cove base (highly important) CRACKED. They named "wet walls" but never did a moisture check either pre- install or afterward. It took FIVE (5) months for action to repair. Initially we were told it would cost $1700 to "repair". After push back, they agreed to repair no charge. BUT! the same cracks exist because (our opinion) their angel of cove base is incorrect (too much distance from wall). AND! After their misattempted correction, they left sticky glue foot prints all over the kitchen floor, which has sand with coating for grip and terribly difficult to clean. We had to demand that they clean their sticky mess even though they knew they left an entire mess. When workers arrived, they were argumentative and started shouting. We told them to leave. In addition, the dining room also has cracks and holes where they had sanded, painted and applied top coat. We showed this to the rep who "repaired" the cove base, which still has cracks due to separation from wall. He said "I know how this happened. I will tell the manager." Long story short: they do not stand by their warranty -- they missed appointments, they were difficult to work with for certificate of insurance, and business contact, Renato, was frequently not available due to vacation/travel that was not pre-disclosed during important timelines for occupancy. He blamed his dad for missing an appointment.. If you are a resident painting /sealing garage floors, it probably works. But the company also touted expertise with restaurants and labs, which require vigorous health codes and they do not stand the test of a year of quality work .

We absolutely love our new walk-in shower. We wanted to go with the Schluter system, and Metix built our shower using the Schluter system with great care and precision. The tile-work on the walls and floors, the finish, glass door installation, shower fixtures, toilet, lighting, fan, bidet, wall work, and paint all look beautiful and highly professional. OR-Fix also went above and beyond by helping us pick up tiles, windows, and other large items from the stores, delivering them to our home, and even returning the extra tiles for us, which made the entire process much easier.
