Contacted with this company for restaurant flooring (ie health department). SLOW scheduling, non-transparent, and after 6 months, the cove base (highly important) CRACKED. They named "wet walls" but never did a moisture check either pre- install or afterward. It took FIVE (5) months for action to repair. Initially we were told it would cost $1700 to "repair". After push back, they agreed to repair no charge. BUT! the same cracks exist because (our opinion) their angel of cove base is incorrect (too much distance from wall). AND! After their misattempted correction, they left sticky glue foot prints all over the kitchen floor, which has sand with coating for grip and terribly difficult to clean. We had to demand that they clean their sticky mess even though they knew they left an entire mess. When workers arrived, they were argumentative and started shouting. We told them to leave. In addition, the dining room also has cracks and holes where they had sanded, painted and applied top coat. We showed this to the rep who "repaired" the cove base, which still has cracks due to separation from wall. He said "I know how this happened. I will tell the manager." Long story short: they do not stand by their warranty -- they missed appointments, they were difficult to work with for certificate of insurance, and business contact, Renato, was frequently not available due to vacation/travel that was not pre-disclosed during important timelines for occupancy. He blamed his dad for missing an appointment.. If you are a resident painting /sealing garage floors, it probably works. But the company also touted expertise with restaurants and labs, which require vigorous health codes and they do not stand the test of a year of quality work . read more

Ours is a 1960s house that was remodeled by the flippers. They just laid self leveling concrete over the original floor but didn't patch up existing cracks so all the cracks reappeared. I called several companies for quotes and just asked one question "how will you fix the floor". I got lazy approaches and incorrect answers and half baked solutions from many but Renato explained all the steps and exactly how they'll do it and didn't over promise due to the nature of the project. What started with only an epoxy project turned into a full remodel with custom cabinets, storage rack and slat wall. The floor itself took 5 days including demo of the existing cement layer, grinding, filling cracks and epoxy. 2 more days for rest of the work. Renato was very patient and listened to all my concerns and suggestions. They even disconnected the water softener and connected it back after the floor was done. eventually everything worked out just perfect even better than I had anticipated. I had a custom design for garage storage units that I inquired about to a handful of businesses through Yelp's search feature. Renato was one of the quickest to reply that he could do the job. I sent him drawings and we texted back and forth to discuss options. He made several suggestions to help reduce the cost, but I wanted maple plywood and he was one of the few vendors I had contacted that was willing to use this at a completely fair price. We had several other closet builders come out to assess the job and none were able to give us the detail of customization that Renato could. Eventually, we had him come out to do a measurement to finalize details for the job. Renato was able to whip up a comp in his 3-D program and show us what it would look like right away. We decided to go with him to do the custom maple plywood cabinets, slat walls, overhead hanging rack and polyaspartic/epoxy flooring. They were able to schedule us right away and work began the next week. We couldn't believe how quickly he said the cabinets were ready to go in, though the flooring had to go first obviously so the timing relied on that being ready. Throughout the process, Renato, Renzo and team were communicative and wonderful to work with. The team on site left the area clean and organized at the end of each work day. I'm so happy we went with Garage Monkey for our project. The garage looks SO good and we are beyond pleased with the results. Maybe they truly provide the best garage remodeling services in the area, but I wasn't even able to get a quote or estimate. The first time I scheduled an appointment, the representative didn't show up. When I texted to ask what happened, they replied, "So sorry, completely missed it." I rescheduled for another day, but they didn't show up again. After the initial back and forth via text (~1week) , Renato came over to take measurements, and walked us through our options. I reached out on Yelp for a garage renovation project which was substantial involving epoxy flooring, hiding plumbing and electrical behind the wall, relocating the water heater, installing lights, building storage and painting besides few additional small things. I shared these details on chat and someone reached out after about a day asking me to send photos and details to their email id. I did send comprehensive details and multiple photos of my garage but no one cared to respond for over 5 days. I later followed up over chat and email asking for someone to reach out and get me a quote as I had received one from elsewhere and wanted to proceed with the renovation. However, I had no response to both my communications. I was honestly looking forward to working with the business given photos of other work done.
