Waited 2:30 hrs. Finally walked out of one of the 15 rooms hidden in back. No one in waiting room. Deceiving!

This urgent care location charges $125 for uninsured patient visits. They told me that as an…read moreinsured patient, my copay was only $30 for the visit. What they don't tell you is that they try to charge $250.00 plus any additional costs from medical tests to your insurance provider if you are in-network for the visit (twice as much or more than an uninsured visit). The billing office openly admits to charging different amounts for a visit depending on if the visit is insured or not. The billing office will try to get you to pay for some or all of the remaining balance that they attempted to charge the insurance company. The billing office is unable to explain the bill in any understandable detail. When I explained to them that none of the numbers on my bill add up mathematically, I was laughed at on the phone. The result is that if you pay, they will make more money from both you (out of pocket) and from the insurance provider than they would have from an uninsured patient visit. They lure you into doing this by telling you that your insured copay is only $30.00, when they are going to try and bill your insurance $250.00 for the visit, instead of the standard visit fee of $125.00. After speaking with my insurance provider, I was instructed to only pay the difference between what they cover for urgent care visits and the incorrect $30 copay the facility charged me. My insurance company also informed me that this billing practice (that I described above) is called double billing, and it is illegal. It is a form of insurance fraud frequently employed by urgent care facilities often to target the elderly. I reported the fraud which is now under investigation. If you are looking for a compassionate and quality urgent care facility, please go across the street to the "Camden Walk in Medical Center (Urgent Care)." Camden Walk in Medical Center's cost for uninsured patients is only $75.00. Their address is: 4601 S Dupoint HWY#2, Dover, DE, 19901.

When I questioned her she said I was mistaken, but how when I sat and watched the people come in after me and I know where my name was on the list. I will be filing a complaint. On the brightside there is a great urgent care across the street very professional and quick.

It's bad enough waiting over an hour from my appointment time for a doctor's visit, but for a…read moresimple vaccine/nurses appointment? Unacceptable. I saw my doctor a week ago for a physical. Got called back pretty fast, but still had to wait in the room for nearly an hour to be seen. Had asked him about updating my vaccines and was told to check Mychart. Go on Mychart and see I need to update 2 of them (I need them for my nursing school requirements). Scheduled my appointment for a week later. Now today. 5/3/25. I arrive about 15 minutes early for my 1:00 appointment. Got the paperwork done. Wait 35 minutes and still haven't been called back. Go to front desk and am told they may be running a bit behind. 2:03 and still haven't been called back. Everyone getting called back but me and I'm just here for a shot. Never took this long for a simple shot. Only reason I didn't put one star is because the staff are nice.

During a critical medical situation, I accompanied my husband to the emergency room following our…read morephysician's recommendation due to concerning blood oxygen levels. Upon arrival at 10:30 AM, initial medical assessments were conducted, including blood work, an electrocardiogram, and a chest X-ray, all completed within an hour. After these initial tests, we were unexpectedly returned to the waiting area, where we remained until approximately 2:30 PM. The environment was notably unclean, with unkempt waiting areas and restroom facilities. It felt like a inter city or third world ER. My husband's medical care was alarmingly inadequate. He was positioned on a bed near the nurses' station, exposed and without privacy. This gave us the opportunity to observe the staff. The main concern of the staff was a employee visiting with her baby, homemade muffins and DD doughnuts. It appeared to be the hang out for EMT's, security and at least four nurses doing little of nothing. My husbands vitals were taken once, with his pulse consistently dropping to a dangerously low 36 beats per minute, which was noted but was not of interest to the assigned nurse. Most disturbingly, no monitoring equipment was used to track his blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, or pulse throughout the rest of our entire emergency room stay. The nursing staff's interaction was perfunctory at best. Nurses would initiate questions but consistently interrupt or walk away before receiving a response, resulting in less than five minutes of meaningful patient engagement during our entire emergency room experience. Because of all the inept, nonexistent monitoring and lack of communication between staff and physician, all the physician noted was his oxygen levels seemed to be in normal range at this time (monitored for less than five minutes). The physician seemed unaware of his dangerously low pulse, that it had been noted he had fluid in one lung by the nurse, no mention of his blood work that indicated very low white blood cell count. Regardless, he was discharged with nothing but the advice to reach out to your heart and pulmonary specialists for follow up. In closing, even with all the alarming ER activity, if the results were the same and my husband had been treated with minimal concern, monitoring and shared information between staff, we would have left at least not feeling more confused and uncertain of our immediate health concerns for my husband.
