Pollo (chicken) taco and carne molida (ground beef) taco with chips, guacamole and salsa Verde
    Michael B.

Props for having a taco place able to whip up to-go orders quickly. I got corn tacos for my order, one chicken and the other ground beef. I did like the seasoning and flavors of the tacos- the chicken one did have a tad too much of the farmer's cheese to where eating it got a little messy (but flavor was still great). The ground beef taco had great peppery taste to it. Guacamole was also not bad (this one was more creamy rather than chunky). I did take out but the restaurant itself has nice decor and seems like a cool place to sit at and have a beer with your dinner. I would definitely get tacos again from this place.

Stopped here for the first time when I was shopping in the area a few weeks ago. I got the box deal with is two tacos, chips, and dip for $12. Restaurant is very clean and staff was friendly. Pretty run of the mill "hipster taco joint" but cool, funky decor. I got the carnitas & fish tacos and enjoyed both, especially the fish. Chips tasted just like Chipotle's- staleness included. Guac was kinda old and brown and not fresh-tasting which was disappointing. I would definitely come back for tacos though and would like to try their drinks!

Chicken taco cross section (lil dry)

Chicken taco, seasoned nicely, quality ingredients. But the chicken was dry. Ribeye was very thinly sliced pretty good flavor but also dry. Special tacos of the week. Pulled pork strawberries with a vinaigrette was absolutely fire. Walking taco meal was just kinda "mid". We got it without crema and i think it would've helped some considering you guessed it the beef was very crumbly dry. Great hot sauce selection. Drinks were good. Tacos were prepared and out to us pretty fast and the staff were friendly. Really had a great feeling going into it with how nice the interior was. Overall: we won't be making the drive from other parts of Pitt to try it again.

Shaved steak taco and Corn in the USA

This is one of those spots I wish I thought to eat at more often because it's delicious food, fast. This cute little Mexican spot is right on the main drag of McKnight Road. Walls depicting murals with strong day of the dead vibes are lined with sugar skull figures and prayer candles. The ceiling is covered with Mexican star lanterns. You order at the main station and receive a number before taking your seat. Staff brings your food to the table and you can toss your disposables when you're done. I've eaten here at least 4 times and the food has always been great quality served fast. Typically I'll get a shaved steak taco and whatever special menu offering the have at that time. Most recently that's been a twist on Mexican street corn, Corn in the USA. Spectacular taste and presentation with the right amount is spice to make an impact without making you sweat. Don't sleep on the churros. They're a nice dessert option that some with either a cream tip or a Nutella style tip. Go ahead and get both.

We've driven past this place a million times and finally decided to stop in. I didn't realize it was an order at the counter restaurant (although it was fine!). I got a chicken taco and a beef one. The beef one was good but nothing special. The chicken however was INCREDIBLE! Delicious chicken, loved the cheese, and the corn tortillas were as authentic as I've managed to find in pittsburgh. My boyfriend is now obsessed with the ribeye taco and my nieces new favorite thing is the walking taco with Fritos. We all enjoyed the mild salsa and the queso. They were out of churros which was a disappointment but otherwise we were full and happy!

We came here after visiting Ross Park Mall. The seating area is decent with a nice patio. You order at a counter and then they bring it out to you. Each taco is $4.75, so your bill can rack up quickly. My son had some Americano tacos. I had the potato and a shrimp. Everything was pretty good. Tacos are fairly small.

I really enjoyed you sharing your story of how you met your husband through the group at Doce Taqueria. Awesome!

1st time customer. We can't wait to come back. Everything was very flavorful and the staff added to the ambiance. I highly recommend Doce Taqueria...a local owned restaurant growing in Pittsburgh.

Side of beans, 2 tacos a crunch shell, the pollo ,the other was the daily special blue devil carnitas(both were amazing)

The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. Mezcal Margarita - sticky, sweet, sour, just the right hit of smokiness. Strawberry Margarita (on the rocks) - perfect sour base, the strawberry takes it to another level. Strawberry Mojito - super minty, insanely refreshing. Chorizo Cheese Dip - salty, savory, creamy perfection. We almost licked the bowl clean, no lies. Queso birria Tacos (w/ rice & beans) - I'm calling it right now: hands down the best birria I've EVER had. The corn tortillas were crisped to perfection. Plus, cilantro on the side? Huge win in my book. Chicken Chimichanga - totally loaded and the chicken was so juicy and well-seasoned. The queso on top was fire!

My sister got the chimichanga and liked it, but didn't like that it was only beef inside. She loved the plantains though! I was very excited to try El Sabor based on the several high reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I set my expectations too high? The food was pretty good, but the meat to veggie ratio was way off for the fajitas I ordered. I ordered the trio fajitas (chicken, steak, & shrimp) and asked to only do the steak & shrimp, and to just do bigger portions of those two instead of having the chicken. There was barely any steak, and just a huge amount of peppers & onions. I don't mind paying $20 for decently portioned fajitas, but I was pretty disappointed that there was barely any meat. I would have liked more shrimp on there as well. I'm left with mixed opinions honestly. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, just a little disappointing. Most folks seem to love it, so I'd say to leave it to your own judgment and give it a try!

Ok, Pittsburgh - si si-- now we're talking more authentic Mexican!…read more This cute hole in the wall in L'ville feels more like the real deal! The bar seems super popular. The vibe is chill but energetic. At about 6:30pm, it was pretty packed. I loved that even the busy bartenders were aware of new patrons coming in the doors. One even seated a table from behind the bar! Bonus points for service! This is a 4 1/2-star review --- leaning 5. We ordered takeout to take to some friends' BYOF wine bar, so I'll look for my 5-star experience when we return soon in person! Food: We shared some seriously awesome ceviche. I was a bit alarmed at the $16 price tag, but it was totally worth it. There's a lot of shrimp with little filler. The seafood was plump with citrusy goodness - not too "cooked" - and packed a bit of heat, which hubs & I love. The enchiladas y mole was GREAT!! I'd prefer dark meat chicken, but props for the abundance of white meat! The mole was soooooo flavorful - def some heat mixed with a great cinnamony zing. The rice & black beans were really good. The guac y chips was so fresh and flavorful. (PS - that is one weird "coffee cup" style styrofoam takeout cup for the guac! Boo!!) The tomatillo salsa was not so bueno. Def wanna try the roja & the other type of salsa (forgot the flavor). Cannot wait to return!!!!

I also enjoyed the mezcal mule even though I'm not a huge fan of carbonated drinks. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chipotle chicken, the rice, refried beans, and chicken mixed together amazingly and the entire dish was packed with flavor. The shrimp ceviche was also solid and quite large for the price. Finally, the churros were great, a bit sweet for me but the churro and the whipped cream go together nicely to create a joyous experience. Potentially even better than the food are the vibes and service, all of the waiters and owners are super nice and willing to interact with customers, definitely recommend coming here with a couple of friends and just enjoy the overall experience with great food! 4.9/5

Don't sleep on catering from Condado!!…read more We recently order catering from this Condado at my work and let me tell you something... it was fireee!!! When it first arrived, we were skeptical if they actually gave us enough for 10 people, but it was more than enough and everything was soooo good! They serve everything in individual containers. The soft tacos are heated and then placed in the sheet pan, so they aren't just stone cold from like a bag from the grocery store. The meats are plentiful and hilariously labeled in the big box! The toppings were plentiful and so were the tortilla chips! Plus... they give you enough bowls and forks for probably close to 25 people!!!
