First I'll say that I never camped at this site, and the reason is why I cancelled my reservation…read more When I called their site to make my reservation the first time, and every time after that I had to leave a voice message. After the second voicemail I received a call a day later but don't remember her name. I gave her the details of our reservation. I had a funny feeling while talking with the person because she sounded like she was trying to be friendly but the way she talked was more of a defensive manner because I had told her that I had left a previous voicemail on a Friday which quickly said "Well I was off on Friday, and I don't have email" I thought it was me so I just let it go. My first red flag came After taking my reservation and form of payment I asked her "Will you be emailing me a confirmation and a receipt to which she quickly snapped "We don't do email" even though they have a link on their website to join their mailing list by entering your email address. I made these about a month before our trip and didn't think much about it until a couple of weeks before when I call them again to get our site number and check-in and check-out times. My first call was on Thursday the 2nd where again I had to leave a voicemail because they don't open before 11AM thinking she would get it that morning I would get a call back. Didn't hear anything from her all day Thursday, or All Day Friday. 2nd Red Flag. Then I left a message on Saturday the 4th thinking she would get it on Monday and would call me back. So on Monday I waited till 10 min before closing and called again because by then I had decided that I didn't want to work with a business who is un-responsive, especially on important issues like knowing when I could arrive and any other rules we would need to know. They had their cancellation policy posted on their website that you had to cancel no later than 24 hour before your reservation so we had decided to just cancel and find another RV Park. To my surprise she answered the phone and I told her my name, and told her I wanted to cancel my reservation. Again in her true nature, she didn't ask why, and didn't seem to care, and just snapped "Do you have your card number", to which I said yes and she told me to give to her which I did and she just said thank you and hung up. The cancellation notice was provide on Monday the 6th, and here I am 10 days later with no refund. I have disputed the charges with my bank and will not let this NARCISSIST keep my money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS, THE WOMAN THAT I TALKED TO HAD TO BE SOME KIND OF NARCISSIST. She is very passive aggressive and should not be talking to any customers

Website on Facebook says beautiful lake views, but all you see is docks and buildings from 95% of the sites, however they will charge you premium prices for the ugly views. They also say full hookups for electric water and sewer, but half the sites don't have sewer hookups. Owner offers to pump out the sewer maunally, but only when its convenient for him, not when you need it. Owners read the electric meters but do not offer a bill for your usage, and can't remember the reads when asked for verification. These owners don't xare about the enjoyment of the renters only the money put into their pockets. There are much better camping places on Watts Bar lake that offer lower prices and a real family experience.
