When I walked in, I instantly felt at home but also like I was in a professional business (As in, I could take my mother there and not feel weird) It's wonderfully decorated, simple, Seattle feel, with wood walls and well organized and beautifully decorated glass cases. The woman I worked with chatted like she's known me forever, and that makes a big difference in customer service. She even went out of her way to show me a tiny Buddha grinder, that was so beyond perfect for me. So perceptive and observant to notice that I would love something like that. I bought it. They had menus right at the door that were clearly laid out. Terrific shop, big selection and best customer service ever. I'd called a manufacturer of CBD cream to find out where I could get their product, and they gave me the names of several stores but added that Dockside was "the best store at keeping them in stock, has good pricing, and a knowledgeable staff on our products." Dockside even has non-infused testers, without the CBD, so you can see whether you like the consistency /fragrance. The salesperson was SUPER easygoing and friendly, in a helpful yet not-pushing-products at you way. The store is attractive, and there's lots of parking. Right off Aurora too. Huge fan of this place!!! I also found the same terrific level of customer service at their 85th and Aurora location. They're a smaller, Express store, but the manager listened to my concerns (I'm fussy about smell and consistency of creams and oils), and said the Shoreline location had testers. What keeps me coming back? Besides the obvious (thanks, I-502), the great customer service, a beautifully well-lit area, extensive menus, and good product makes this place my favorite. I am a huge fan of the 420 Bars (Hazelnut is the best) and sometimes they run specials. Last time was 20% of a Blueberry strain, which happens to be a well-loved favorite of mine. Although they are highly knowledgeable and friendly, please take note: If you are sensitive or a newcomer to marijuana/Cannabis products, start with 1/8 what they recommend. The two times I have visited I stated I am incredibly sensitive and need to be alert and function, because I have a kid; the first time I tried their "lightest" vape pen they recommended to me and followed their directions, I proceeded to get the most high I've ever been and locked myself in my car for three hours. The second time, I took 1/4 of their recommended dosage (thinking I had learned my lesson) of a tincture and got WAY FUCKING HIGH, and severely depressed yesterday and today. Not sure what their title is but I was completely disappointed in his recommendations and lack of product knowledge. We used to frequent Hypeherbally before they shut most of the medical dispensaries down and have grown accustomed to the service we received over at Hypeherbally. My advice is to do your own research prior to visiting the shop and get advice from anyone but this one blond guy with the Korean updo, he seriously couldn't even explain the benefits of CBD, CBN, and THC. read more

This is my second visit to a retail cannabis store in the Seattle area. Last time I went to another shop, also on Aurora, and was less than impressed. After reading the reviews here, I drove to Dockside this morning and was very pleased to find it is was quite different. The shop is very well laid out, clean, bright and welcoming. As someone who has never used cannabis for pain relief, I was looking for information and while the staff can not give you medical advice, their knowledge of their products and the various thc levels will gave me the information I needed to make an educated guess for myself. I ended up buying product in three different forms, so will see which is most effective for my osteoarthritis pain. I will certainly return when I'm next in need of product. read more

First time I walked in seemed like one of the better stores. The prices were not too high ( considering that all weed stores are higher than off grid prices ). I got two pre-rolled jays in a plastic tube for $10. The "AC/DC" strain of the jays was amazing.I felt like this was a decent deal. The Blue Dream sativa nugs I bought from them was mediocre. I came back a week later and I discovered that one pre-rolled jay was now $10 instead of two! All the prices were double or more than before. The most reasonable offer was 3.5g for $40. These overpriced nugs would fade out after 5minutes. That's double than normal pricing for low quality nugs! I feel that prices should be based on the quality and quantity of the weed. I'm skeptical of marijuana shortages on the industrial level. I don't think how many consumers they have is a factor here, the price gauging is ridiculous. Return a week later and discover they doubled their own prices which were already higher than normal off grid standards. Exploits of the infant legal weed industry are still rampant. read more
