I gave 3 stars because I have been here often and always had exceptional experiences but my last two times, I was deeply bothered by the treatment I received from your staff. Specifically, I dealt with a female Budtender (short with black hair) whose demeanor was entirely unprofessional. During our interaction, she was dismissive and overtly rude. Most notably, when I asked questions or sought clarification about a specific strain or cost, she responded by rolling her eyes and using a tone that suggested my presence was a nuisance. Your dispensary in my many visits has always been welcoming and informative, yet this staff member made the experience uncomfortable and hostile. While your location is convenient and prices attractive I cannot justify spending my money at an establishment where the staff is disrespectful AND the product reliability has also tremendously gone down hill. read more

This place is wack. I made an order online for a cartridge. I came in and the guy showed me the item and scanned it and I had to tell HIM that that was the wrong product- he had brought out the disposable from the same brand, not the cartridge. He went back and came out with the correct cartridge. I paid for my stuff and left. I got home looked at my receipt and I was charged for the price of the disposable- not the cartridge. This is just lazy and disappointing and does NOT make me want to return there. I called the store and all I was told was "come back in with a receipt". It was a price difference I can afford but what the heck people, not only did you try to give me a product that I did NOT ask for but then you charge me for the more expensive product that I didn't buy? Taking my money?? make it make sense :( Some of the staff seems to struggle with attention to detail which is unfortunate for a company selling specific and high shelf products. I used to enjoy coming here. The deals made up for the horrible parking lot. I decided to stop by today at noon to use my new medical card. Herbn elements claims to be a medically endorsed store with access available 8 AM-11:59 PM. I was told (quite rudely) that they did not have any medical people on staff at noon on a Wednesday. I was forced to either pay full price or "come back another time". He made it seem like it was the fault of the state and not the store's management. Who knows when that would be since they didn't have anyone at noon on a weekday. It is clear that they actually do not care about their medical clientele. I will be taking my business to Uncle Ikes, who has a better selection and actually takes care of their medical customers. read more

What Happened to Herb n Elem.? ... I've been a local customer for over seven years. I had consider this store a part of my Community. ... Today, I was greated with a new staff and Yikes!!!! No customer service, did not care to help. I made a selection regardless, was in the process to purchase. I flipped my ID. on the counter and that was immediately met with a harsh response. It was recieved as I was throwing my ID. and that was disrespectful to them. So much so, they threated to remove me from the store for this. It's all on the store video. I left, went across the street to Uncle Ike's. I was met with friendly smiles and People, that were so down to help. Night and day experience. ... I then went back to Herb n Elem.'s, to get the Owner's information (to formally make a complaint) and to let them know that I was no longer going to be a customer. The Manager (short with red hair), asked me to leave, I tried to voice my opinion and was met with the threat of calling the Police. I nicely walked out side and the Manger followed me, pressing me hard to get my name and plate number. As I turned (again voicing my need for the Owner's, information), I was rushed upon by what seemed to be Security. Again, all on video. He got up in my face and then pushed me. ... What has happened to Herb n Elem.? ... I use to work for Nordstrom's Store Planning and know a little about Customer Service. This is not it! The store is on the edge of hostile with one wrong step. ... I will no longer buy from them. After seven loyal years (I purchase an oz. every two weeks and have done so for the last seven years), they just lost another Customer! Sad to see it. ... I will be making a formal complaint to the Owner (if he can even be contacted). Been a customer for 4 years. Never again. They refused to accept a return for a $50 catridge that doesn't use standard screw-in mount. The cartridge was not marked in any way as being non-standard. The clerk who was helping me happily sold it to me together with a separate, standard catridge without letting me know that I couldn't use it in a standard pen. Scumbags. ***Disclaimer*** I was having a bad day when I left the original 1 star review. I posted it in haste without allowing the owner/manager a chance to remedy the situation. The staff is all very friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the products that they have. They have a very nice selection in all areas. The only complaint I have is the keep rotating the stuff that I like the most (please bring back the Phoenix RSO in Sativa Strains LOL). I have been to a lot of shops in Seattle. I have had to try and return cartridges (1 out of every 5 in the beginning days and now about 1 out of every 25 are bad). Every shop has given me some kind of run around when trying to use their return policy. It seems there is always a reason that they can't do it and they will only give you a discount on your next purchase. I had something similar happen here but the Owner reached out to me directly and remedied the situation. They have my business indefinitely going forward. read more

Their price is very reasonable. Most of the time I already have the specific product that I want in mind, so I don't spend too much time there. During the last visit, they no longer carry the product that I normally bought from them and had no idea when they would restock it since they had just gone through some changes recently. And I do know that the product that I was looking for was getting harder to find. Operating under any other name gives you the impression your getting Herbn elements standards and etiquette and you are not. Take it as a hint when a business isn't doing what it should in profits then it posts on Groupon this is the same sham. First day they took over they broke a million labor laws for their employees hours and that was enough for me to say goodbye forever. I went last night asking the bud tenders recommendation for a good couch lock and got sold a CBD gram with less than 1% of THC. Couldn't grab the jar because of covid so I couldn't inspect it to make sure it looked good and also the harvest date on the CBD gram I was sold is from OCTOBER. SERIOUSLY?! Whoever the bud tender was didn't even know what he was talking about. He was just reading THC levels from the other bags of pot. They offer at 15 percent discount if you order online and pickup in store so when I went into the location to inquire about the deal the bud tender with purple long hair was rude to my partner and I. She then escalated the situation further by calling over her supervisor to tell us that they would not honor the discount even if we left and came back. There are so many other pot shops in Seattle that have better products and deals that 5his shop just lost two loyal customers. I have passed this a few times and decide to stop in. I had my ID in hand even though I have been 'legal' for 53 years! There were 4 people working there and no one greeted me, a bad sign. A girl at the first counter simply had her hand out so I could give her my ID, not a word. I said something funny like, 'I am only 23' and not even a smile. I asked about their hash and was handed a package that read "Lebanese Red" and a package labeled "Lebanese Gold". I was surprised and remarked, 'Wow these are from Lebanon?' She said, 'No they are from next door.' OK so how could I trust anything from then on, thc content, pesticide use, accurate weight. As a courtesy I asked what they cost, they were not marked, "$50" was the simple reply. $50 for a gram of hash? WTF I just returned from Amsterdam and hash from Afghanistan and Morocco for $8-$10 a gram.
