We ended up getting a frozen salmon fillet and some candied salmon. The candied salmon is quite cheap compared to other places. We got 4 pieces for ~$2.50. The salmon was so vibrantly coloured and tasted so fresh. It didn't have fishiness at all. Although the candied salmon had sweetness, that was very mild and you mostly just taste the salmon.
