That is not a "misunderstanding." That is a violation of multiple California Rules of Professional Conduct. Let me spell out exactly what you violated: Rule 1.15 - Safekeeping Funds You withdrew client trust funds that were not earned, not authorized, and not supported by any written agreement. You billed for "legal secretarial work," "principal attorney case work," and "trust document review" even though I never hired you for trust work, never provided any documents, and cancelled before any work began.
