Great Budget Spot. Some natural, trustworthy bud at a great price. Never had a problem with parking. Only tiny complaint is one time calling about strain selection, I was referred to check their online menu. When I arrived, the strain I was interested in wasn't on the shelf or available. Doc's Apothecary is great both price wise and medicinally, but this review is specifically for the employees who are working there during this complicated time of, COVID19. Maricel was who went out of her way to assist me as I was having a difficult time on the website and decided to call. It was not her responsibility as through conversation she mentioned she worked in bookkeeping. (if I remember correctly) Without hesitation she asked me what I needed and put me on a brief hold as she left her office onto the floor to grab the items I needed and bagged them up for me herself. Maricel did not need to go out of her way to do this, but she chose to go the extra mile to help me and lately, even before COVID, it seems there has been such a lack in human kindness. Maricel deserves recognition from her company and community as she was simply a nice person. She just as easily could have been so nice and said no, but instead she took two out of our five minute conversation to restore a little more of my hope in humanity with out even knowing it. That being said while checking out the employees behind the counter were talking about how much the hated the U.S. and insulting U.S. veterans. Oh boyyyy where do I begin. I used to go to this dispensary only, no joke. Literally. I had never been so loyal to anything in my entire life! I really felt that they knew what the 303 consumers wanted and needed, and they used to be more than willing to give just that. I had racked up so many loyalty points and they changed their points loyalty system, not once, but twice on me. I lost every.single.point. I had ever earned at this place, FREAKING TWICE, and trust me, it was A LOT of points both times. Made me feel like I had been robbed point blank. This dispo in the past had been northern Colorado's hidden secret gem. Amazing deals, even better product, and fast and friendly service. The bud in the shake ounces half the time didn't even look like shake! It was smaller, yet still densely packed mini nuggets. Now their "shake oz's" are literally trimmings. Its pure garbage. And also labeled now as "cooking shake". Wtf? Gtfoh with your sewer weed. It's obviously that the quality has gone way down hill. Each time this occurred, management didn't care at all. Didn't offer me any sort of redemption substitution, matching of points from previous (due to new system there was not way to actually know/prove what points I had') nothing. Nada. Zipppp. I feel so ripped off and disrespected as a customer. Budtenders used to be on point with knowledge, suggestions, advice. Now they literally want you in, and they push you out even quicker. Security has always been tight in this place too, but sometimes the guards are just straight up bullies. Commenting on how different you look in ID pictures(and how much better you used to look. No sh*t buddy that pic was 10 years ago!!), snide comments about "back again" or "being here two times in one week". All in all, I miss the old Doc's. It's clear that times have changed and that it ain't coming back. The only saving grace of this facility and the two stars I gave, is that it's walking distance from my house. The flower I have gotten over the last 3 months has just disintegrated into a powder when you try to break it apart. Then the service... I place online orders and they can't fulfill them. They don't keep their website updated AT ALL so you know what the heck is in stock and what isn't. AND THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG F'ING ORDER AND WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK! I go to Docs for my medicine. There is always convenient parking. I always feel prioritized and they always take great care of me. I feel safe there and they are pet friendly. They have good prices and great recommendations. They have good happy hour deals in the morning and the afternoon. I've been going there for a few months and have had no real complaints until they're was a duplicate charge on my account for a purchase I made last month. I first talked to Andrew on the phone who assured me if I brought the statement in or screen shot they would take care of it. I've been in twice now and unfortunately talked with Chris, who is very rude and unhelpful. He refused to help me, acting like I was trying to rip them off or something, even after I showed him copies of my statement. When I told him I would have to dispute the charges he said..."I'm fine with that." I asked for the owner's name which he would not give me. He did take my name and number...we will see if I get a call. I live in Brighton and it take 20 minutes one way for me to drive to Doc's Apothecary. That's 40 minutes round trip. If this is the kind of customer service I can expect, I doubt I'll be making that trip again. BTW...I contacted my bank. They agreed it was a duplicate charge, so now Doc's can deal with them. read more

Just checked this place out. Their bud tenders are very knowledgeable and took the time to find us something we would like. Got some flower and I like the releasable packaging. I hate when you have to transfer to a jar or another package. I don't keep that many jars! Pricing seemed a little higher but I am willing to pay a little more for better flower. I have frequented this store for the last few years, and everyone is wonderful aside from her. Rude. Disrespectful. Arrogant. I tip every trip at least $5 and usually even try to tip the door guy. Past employees have become friends because they were so wonderful, but this person is insufferable and until the owners wise up and get her out of there, I can't see myself shopping here again. She Spoke over me at every turn as if I don't understand the product that I have been purchasing weekly for years. So freaking unprofessional. Did they (docs) replace the cart? uh huh...they insulted me even farther by replacing the defective product with a CBD cartridge under the pretense of it being indica. you people are and NEVER WILL BE! We went here because they had a special on an ounce. When we got there they only had one strand that wasn't what we were looking for. We went for a quarter that was on sale instead, it was a basket so you could pick the strand you wanted. My boyfriend picked his indica strand and brought it to the register. The budtender took his selection back to the basket to seemingly "find the best one of that strand". We paid, he sealed it up in a white envelope and we left. When opening the envelop we discovered he had grabbed a completely different strand, a hybrid (which is exactly not what we wanted, and the reason we didn't get the $50 ounce and instead got a quarter for $30). We turned around immediately and brought it back and he told us there was nothing he could do, even though it was completely his fault. No refund, no store credit, no switch out. That's some crappy customer service. Now we're stuck with weed we don't even want to smoke. We will not be back. read more

My usual shop was closed down for some reason and this was the closest other shop I could find. The rec side of the store was out of almost everything. The bud tender said "We have it all in back but the girl who does inventory doesn't work on the weekend." My guess is that even when she is at work she doesn't do her job well, other wise there would be inventory on the shelves for the weekend. They did how ever have a ton of "Live Resin". I'm a light weight, I don't do the dab and extract thing, but out of curiosity I asked the bud tender what live resin was? His response was "Honestly, I don't know." Also this place was expensive as hell! If I found myself in a bind again with no other shop to go to I would rather have no weed then shop here. Ive read through all of the reviews on yelp in regards to Docs and Im not seeing what they are seeing. To the nurse who wrote about her "2 quarters for $100 and that was including tax. It was probably half stems and I found seeds in it too. The flower is poor quality and very pricey. The employees are not very inviting" and a separate review about how she doesn't like when Sam's Club employees tell her to stop dragging her child by the ear inside the store. I had to include the second part because it helps put her Doc's review into context. There some big questions left unanswered in her review. First and foremost, what strain did she purchase? Was it the discount flower? I ask these questions because, for example, I went in the other day and got two 8ths(they are priced as 8ths not as a total quarter) of premium flower(Red Headed Stranger and Moonshine Haze) and some hash(Green Crack x Pineapple Lebanese) which added up to(with my industry discount) $96 or so. Do you see where im going with this yet? If nurse lady in fact purchased 2 quarters for $100 then(even in 2017) she would have had to have purchased discounted flower and or(the most likely scenario) shake. Its like she walked into a High End boutique and bought the cheapest thing they sold(maybe a set of black bobby pins or something) and complained when it wasn't the rose gold ones she had always dreamed of purchasing. My second review of a Doc's review will be on the kid sitting on parents front porch. His review was "Most unhelpful staff I've ever encountered. Horrible service. I became a member and realized they offered absolute crap deals so I tried to cancel my membership. The burden of time is strong with this one. All of a sudden...ONE DAY, she pulls her card out to early and the card machine charges her twice, as it should. The directions are simple on the card machine. Ill leave it at that. Obviously Doc's, like most if not all dispensaries, cant just call up the bank and ask for the money back. This is another case of, Not Realizing How Complicated the Cannabis Industry Is! We aren't talking about Macy's charging your card twice, Oops. I can take care of that for you right now Ms.Universe, my apologies. We are talking about a federally illegal substance who no major corporations, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc, can legally be apart of. So its not wonder that Doc's couldn't just instantly give her the money back. The biggest unanswered question that she failed to include in her review was, Did she receive her money back? To which the answer could only be, yes. And finally, My review of Doc's is as follows. Are you paying a little more, yes. Compared to some dispensaries it might even be a lot more. Is it outrageous, no. I quite often pay for what I want. If what I want costs more, so be it. In all seriousness, its really not that expensive. The quality of Doc's herb has never been in question in my mind. Although, my only beef is that the Rec side has way better selection and product than the Med side. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. I would put them easily in the Top Ten dispensaries in the State. read more
