I'm so incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and efforts to really get to the root cause of what was wrong. He's careful to take time with each patient and really listen to what is going on. Then he carefully decides the action plan, carefully selects the types of tests he needs to run to identify the root of the problem and utilizes the information to get his patients well from the inside out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and deep down he IS genuinely a good person. So many other GI doctors just want to prescribe their patients a bunch of medications to cover up the problems. Dr Mark really wants to get you better! And the staff is always friendly and helpful. I AM IMPRESSED! I…read morehave been on this diet for 2 months and I have lost a total of 17 pounds! This for me is really good. The pill curves my appetite which is huge because I eat not just because I'm hungry but because the food is good and this caused me to over eat. This was fine when I was working out 3 - 4 times a week. But due to an injury I had to stop for a year and just never picked it back up. The staff is great, I am there once a month on Mondays and it literally takes 15 minutes or less, I don't even mind the B12 shot!. I hate needles, but I love the energy it gives me. I have tried a lot of diets like most people but this one is the only one that I have found that I can eat from where ever I want; home or restaurant as long as I make healthy choices and watch my calories I am still on target and not hungry. On this diet I am more aware of what I eat and how much I eat. Since I am not hungry this has given me the desire and will power to make healthier choices. I am a very busy executive and church goer which has made eating out a 3 times a week habit. This habit is not going to throw me off course so I have went online to look up menu items and the calories of the restaurants I frequent so I can make healthier choices and stay on target. I have begun to experience the eating less and feeling really full, I spoke to a friend who is a physician and he said my stomach is shrinking which is typical of diets when you follow the intake guidelines. This is a win win for me. I have started back exercising 2 - 3 times a week, this is realistic for me with my busy schedule. I have been able to maintain this and that is very satisfying.
